Fantastic theming and immersion because WOW was I creeped out. I assumed the theme would have gore but the level of unique puzzles, actions, and noises was fantastic! The story gave chills and made me appreciate more realistic and historical rooms like this (with a bit of twist of course). I would not recommend for kids or for the casual escape room player, but if you like horror and history this is right up your alley and an absolute must for the dells area.

Loved this room, but hated the theme. 😅 If you like horror rooms, you will LOVE this room. Immersion was fantastic-10/10 for sure. The layout of the rooms blew me away. There was one puzzle that was not reset correctly and the GM had to tell us how it should have been laid out. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this room for adults. (Too gory for kids imo)

I have to preface that our single light went out during this heavily dark room (though luckily we didn’t need it by that point) and our marker for taking notes didn’t work at all. Our gamemaster didn’t try to help us or address this despite us calling out to him. The room itself was quite an experience, and was for the most part good. Way too many annoying red herrings, especially near the beginning. But there’s an intense section that really made me feel like I was in Mission Impossible. And the last few puzzles are actually very tricky and surprising. Warning: the content is extremely graphic, and it may be sensitive to some. It’s a little spooky. And the website tells you this while booking, but note that there is no temperature control whatsoever inside. If it’s hot outside, it’s hot inside, and same with cold weather. We went on a warm summer night, and it was ok, but it will vary. It’s kinda silly because they say it’s meant to be realistic temperature, but ehhh…
