Deep Space

The weakest of the three rooms at this location. it opens with some really cool special effects but like the tomb has some puzzles which over stay their welcome just for the purposes of padding the run time of the room at the expense of enjoyability and 1/3 room was so unclear in its objectives we finished it without us even realizing how or.

It’s unfair to judge this experience as an escape room experience because escape room this is not. And they make it clear it’s not. It is an immersive action adventure with manual physical puzzles unlocking progressive rooms. I tried the combo package of all three games after reading some positive reviews, and for me I left feeling disappointed and wishing I spent that money on another escape room instead. This particular room was very “Activate”ish, for those who’ve tried that company. It was alright. Very physical, lots of movement (especially if you’re playing with 2 people). If you enjoy immersive entertainment in general, this is worth a shot. However if you’re looking for something that will deliver the fulfillment of a good escape room, avoid.

this was my second favorite of their rooms! Beginning was slightly confusing but overall super super fun!

Everyone escapes because they immediately move u on even if u fail

Fun but short. Same price or more than traditional escaperooms. Worth trying once. Main issue is if your having difficulty with a puzzle they will fail you and your forced to move on without solving.

This room was more task oriented than the others so it felt more like I was playing a video game the entire time than solving any puzzles. Last room also didn't feel very related to the theme either. Still had a good time overall, but it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I will say that the transition from the start is still one of the coolest things I have ever encountered.

5 Wits Nyack in General: this company makes a big deal out of making sure you know this is “not” an escape room. But I actually think they do themselves a disservice that way! I’m a very avid escape room escaper, and I was VERY taken by 5 Wits! The immersive nature of each themed adventure here is extremely high quality and well done. This approaches Disney theme park quality, and that of my favorite escape room company: The Escape Game. The staff is great and I appreciate the reveals in each adventure as well as their cute intros, and that you get a score at the end (which for me helps keep it competitive even though you always technically “escape”) This room: this all feels very high budget! It’s really impressive. The puzzles are fun and active (you must move, maneuver, transfer objects across rooms, and then also play a big touch video game at the end). The last room is REALLY cool, but also quite tough if you don’t intrinsically think like you’re in a video game. For me, this was the weakest of the three rooms here, but that is by no means cause for a poor review. Also, love the Portal references :)

I’m a sucker for anything space and this is the best space escape room I have ever done. The immersion is fantastic and they have puzzles that are pretty unique. I haven’t encountered puzzles like the ones in this room in really any other escape room that I’ve done. Fantastic room.

I've always been a fan of the "5 Wits" Franchise from when I first discovered them in Plymouth Meeting. I was excited to know that the Deep Space adventure would be on our way back from Boston so we made a quick side trip. The beginning.... YES.. YES... YES...... I love the amazing way 5 wits can start an adventure with some magic and this one was awesome! As for the rest of the adventure, it was a slight bit of a roller coaster for me. The middle portion of our adventure was little rough but the ending was an amazing display of technology. I enjoyed being able to cross this off my list but Tomb is still reining supreme for me in the 5 wits universe.
