The Hidden Chamber: Der Schatz Der Alten Meister [The Hidden Chamber: The Treasure of the Ancient Masters]

We played the room today. The introduction by the gamemaster Sophie was excellent right from the start. After that, you immediately understand why they recommend going to the restroom beforehand. By the way, there are also paid toilets at the train station for a small fee. The introduction and the atmosphere work from the very first second. It is important to know that the introduction is not counted as part of the actual game time. If you include the introduction, which is fully integrated into the setting, the whole experience lasts around 70 minutes. We really liked the room and had a lot of fun. The puzzles were well designed and nicely varied.

Not my favorite room of this company in any way, but it at least had a very great and authentic set design. The introduction was way too long for my taste and the riddles were too easy, if you could even call them actual riddles. Other than the authenticity and immaculate props the room doesn't have much going for it, I did still enjoy it enough though.

The Hidden Chamber was the first escape room we played in Bad Salzuflen, and in my opinion, it is the best of the three rooms. We kept using this room as a benchmark when playing others, both in and outside of Bad Salzuflen, and consistently concluded that it is one of the best we’ve experienced so far. The introduction was excellent, and the gamemaster was simply outstanding. He guided us through the mission perfectly, knowing exactly when we needed a hint—without ever giving away the solution directly, instead nudging us gently in the right direction. The room also featured incredible mechanisms and effects. It’s no surprise that it has won awards. We were impressed not only by the room itself but also by the team. I can wholeheartedly recommend this escape room.

We had a really great experience from start to finish. The game master welcomed us in character and the whole safety talk/instructions etc were given fitting in with the theme of the room. Decoration and props were stunning; very cool design elements. There was a lot to see and find. There weren’t many typical puzzles but well fitting tasks that were very plausible within the setting and flow of the room. Loved it.

Any experience with an immersive start is a win in my book. In this case The Hidden Chamber has great gameplay, intro and set. A real treasure hidden beneath an innocuous train station! Definitely worth the trip out!

Our 11th stop on our Escape Tour Germany and easily one of my favorite Indiana Jones-themed room so far! (Together with The Lost Treasure of Alexander Von Humboldt). Kicking off the day with this adventure was an absolute thrill. The environment was breathtaking, featuring smoke, sand, and pyrotechnics that brought the setting to life. The story was engaging, and the level of immersion was top-notch from start to finish. A must-play for any escape room enthusiast, and an absolute no-brainer for Indiana Jones fans. Highly recommended!

Im Grunde genommen fehlt es diesem Spiel an nichts - atemberaubende Effekte, ein faszinierendes Bühnenbild und tolle Rätsel machen dieses Spiel zu einem der besten Spiele in Deutschland. Der "Tür-Moment" wird uns allen wohl in Erinnerung bleiben.

Sowohl das Opening, die Gestaling als auch der Mega Tür-Moment ist mir unglaublich gut in Erinnerung geblieben. Selten war ich so gut in einen Spielfluss. Das Setting war mega und alles total passend eingebettet. Ein Traum an Spielerlebnis! Im Grunde gibt es keine Mängel oder Verbesserungsvorschläge.
