Prison

A pretty straightforward and basic game with a lot of key locks. None of the puzzles were very complicated or creative. The last room was a little too easy. If you haven’t done many escape rooms before or want something family friendly then this is a good option. I recommend going with a party of maximum 6 people, otherwise it could get a little crowded and some players would not have much to do. I went with a party of 5 and although the puzzles were a bit simple we still had fun.

Overall very fun! Set and theming are good. Most puzzles are well designed and fun to solve. There are a few too many dexterity-based puzzles for my taste, and due to the linear nature of the room, each of those puzzles meant most of the group stood around while one or two people solved it. Written notes and set pieces were immersive and well-written. Our GM was awesome!

If your team is a mix of experienced players and newbies, remember to split up the team with experienced players in both cells

Solid prison room with what you’d expect would happen to your party at the beginning. As a result, there needs to be a lot of communication between cells, which is somewhat hard because the music is loud. Also, there is a heavy emphasis on dexterity, moreso than normal. It’s not actually a hard room puzzle wise, but these dexterity tasks may take up a lot of your time if you’re not careful. I had a lot of fun finding unique Macguyver ways to break out! Made my smaller group of 2 laugh so hard!

We really enjoyed this room! First prison/separated team room I’ve done. Super enjoyable time. Lots of puzzles/activities I’ve never seen/done before and that was cool. Host was super friendly. Would recommend.

From 2016: Pretty solid room, but very reliant on physical/dexterity challenges vs puzzles; The six of us were divided equally between two cells to begin, but we could communicate and pass items to each other. We escaped the cells with seconds left on the clock...only to discover an additional chamber beyond and no time to solve the puzzles therein (but the facility was kind enough to let us still play out the room).

Like many jail-themed escape rooms your party is split and starts in different cells. There were some really novel portions including my first remote controlled car in an escape room.

We were doing really good but got stuck at one part and they refused to give us a nudge or clue when we asked. We were really stuck for 12 minutes. We wish we would have gotten the nudge sooner. It was really annoying because we asked for it.
