The Mall

Meh. This room wasn't my cup of tea. The GM we met when we arrived was nice enough but showed no real enthusiasm for the experience. GM's really make or break the game for me, and this made me iffy right from the start. The set was disappointing. I loved the concept and the overall look of the space but the execution was at fault. The painting job was haphazard, and the book section was filled with "books" that had obviously seen better days. The overall aesthetic tainted the day, and it made me feel the owners didn't carry enough to upgrade or just do simple repairs and maintenance. I am not sure if this is just an early room because they have two other locations in the area that look amazing. The puzzles were fine but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, it was a lackluster end to our trip to the area.

I wanted to like this game. At 1st glance the set is super cute & the premise is fun. Some of the puzzles were fun too. But ... From the time we walked in, the GM was bored & disinterested. Even trying to engage him in conversation only got us Yup, Uh huh. The set looks nice at 1st, but when we interacted with it we found broken pieces & cheaply made pieces. There was 1 piece not attached to the wall that looked like it might be used, but when we picked it up it had a long screw sticking out. Other props were cheaply painted & a paper clue was worn & tattered. One puzzle involved seeing letters, but they were so well blended that our group of 3 looked at it several times, knowing what we were looking for, & still couldn't see it. Someone with colorblindness or any vision issues would never see it. Another puzzle clue contained more information than necessary for no apparent reason. The game has potential but needs a spruce up. As it is, I could not recommend this game

Our crew of 2 adults and 2 kids worked through the mall while having fun. The kids actually solved a few puzzles on their own and were able to contribute which made it a great experience.

Such a fun room!!! Our team of 4 had a great time and everyone contributed. Everything flowed logically and the room was creative with great puzzles, all of which made sense. The set was cute and unique. This was a solid room that I would recommend for seasoned players and newbies alike, although escape room enthusiasts will find it to be on the easier side.

Super cute room! I could see this room being great for kids. The set design and puzzles were unique, which made for a new and exciting experience. The flow of the room was solid. We all had a lot of fun!
