I was instantly grabbed when we first walked in, as it was set up like a Blockbuster or a Mr. Movies!! Totally unexpected. It really amped up my excitement to explore and solve the rest of the room. I'll admit, a knock-off 'Mission Impossible' theme isn't my first choice with a room's theme, but making it much more approachable/relateable to people allowed it to let players build some additional thrill to the experience.
The gameplay flowed super well, and everything made sense as far as puzzle solving and what you needed to do. Nothing too obvious, but nothing too crunchy, either.
The video rental as the first section was such a great chooce on the designer's part!! The lazors were an enticing puzzle to contend with also.
The staff at Lock and Key are fantasic. Very welcoming, friendly, and super helpful.

A decoder ring, lazors, and video tapes: need I say more? :)
Save the world and whatnot :)
Medium
I'd say somewhere between easy and medium.
Mechanical
But there were lazors on a few occassions!!

Two to four would be perfect. Maybe six if you have small kids.

But they made us aware beforehand, and provided us with a replacement that didn't downgrade the gameplay at all.

Some moving back and forth between sections further into the game.
Very open space for anyone using mobility aides. One color puzzle that I recall.

Fun puzzles and enjoyable. Several puzzles were not working, or were omitted for various reasons. This made it seem faster and possibly easier than it might have been. Very much liked the initial room, it had a lot of personality. Some of the props showed wear and could stand to be replaced, but they still served their purpose. We were initially set to play their Carnival game but because of an accident on the interstate we had to rebook to this room instead. I was glad they were able to accommodate us.
Initial room was so well themed! Second room could use a little more detailing but serves it's purpose well.

This was a fun room! Some interesting puzzles that really test your group’s teamwork and communication skills. We did the room with 3 intermediate + 1 beginner and were able to finish. Would recommend playing with a group of 2-4 people. While there are some puzzles that can be done in parallel, we ended up doing most of them sequentially. Overall, well integrated puzzles, cool room decorations, and a fun time!

As a group that has done a number of escape rooms before, the gameplay wasn’t novel, but it was fun nevertheless. The puzzles all flowed pretty well.
The room where we took the picture in looked pretty cool! Won’t spoil anything more, but overall the atmosphere was decent.
All the staff we’ve met here are super nice! Our GM (Dawson) was relatively new but did a great job with the intro and helping resolve any issues that came up during the experience. They were also accommodating when we asked for an extra chair in the room.

The puzzles are pretty standard.
The plot was pretty standard — you’re working to disarm a doomsday device. The story is pretty well integrated in some of the puzzles.

There are some parts that was super helpful with 3-4 people, but if there are much more then it might get crowded.

There was one puzzle that was broken and we didn’t get to try (the GM helped us advance). However, everything else went pretty smoothly and the GM was working hard to handle any issues.

We were able to ask for a chair in case one of our group mates needed to sit and take a rest. There are some puzzles that need hearing, vision, and color recognition too.

It’s located in a mall, so there’s mall parking.

Good room! The GM was very helpful as we had a younger kid with us (age 9) who didn't like loud noises, and he'd warn her throughout. Very clever room, just have to piece it all together. Teamwork is so key in this one! I recommend it.

Lots of rooms, fun puzzles. Ill say that this was my least favorite room in the place but that doesn't make it a bad room. I would just come back for this one is all. Still loads of fun and i recommend you do it.
