Bellamy's Booty

This was such a fun room with plenty of puzzles to solve. The rooms looked awesome and I really loved the unique storyline/theme that was carried through the entire room. The staff were awesome and you’re even given a sheet of stats at the end. What’s not to love?

Really enjoyed this pirate themed room! The puzzles were solid and everything stayed on theme throughout. It was nice playing a more traditional escape room with locks again. A few puzzles were tricky enough that we needed a hint, but once we got one, they made sense and worked well. The owner was really friendly and passionate too so that's a huge plus. Highly recommended if you enjoy a good escape room with great puzzles

Very underrated room with some tricky puzzles that were satisfying once solved. Great variety of puzzles and a clear goal from the get go, this helped the flow of the room and got us into the spirit of the room. Wouldn’t expect anything less from the team at Social Escape, another hit from them.

Having played quite a few pirate escape rooms by now, it was nice to see and experience new puzzles and a gorgeous set in ‘Bellamy’s Booty’. From the meticulously curved stern of the ship to the cabins within, Social Escape succeeds in offering one of Australia’s nicest seafaring adventures. Interesting puzzles that float well within the theme of a swashbuckling escape game are presented throughout, with some more complex layered puzzles offered midway through the experience. With such varied puzzles in type and difficulty, it seems that each player in a team would walk away from ‘Bellamy’s Booty’ with a different favourite puzzle—we certainly did!

A solid pirate themed room! The set makes you feel you're on a pirate ship despite the small overall size of the room. There's a good variety of puzzled as well and most of them are around the medium difficulty range and things are clearly labelled so you know what answer goes into which combination lock. I did have a slight issue with how the room tells you how much time you have left. Every 15 minutes, a large amount of smoke pours into the room, making it very difficult to see which I think is very unnecessary and a normal timer or hourglass could have been substituted. Overall a great room like all the rooms at social!

We did this room in our usual group of two. The generally non-linear aspect allowed us to tackle multiple things at once. Some tricky puzzles made us pause. The detailed stars at the end of the room clearly showed where we had struggled. Mark was a great GM, having invested so much time into designing, building and running this place. Definitely recommended!

4/10. Didn’t enjoy some of the puzzles

We really enjoyed this room today. It was our third room we completed at Social Escape rooms today and it was a little harder than Paris Escape and Baker Street mystery. Room was elegantly designed and we loved the manual keys and locks. Some great visual clues that got us thinking! The Social Escape Rooms team is phenomenal! Can’t recommend this place enough…. We enjoyed their first 3 rooms almost as much as we enjoyed all the Cipher room games! Well done team
