This game was genuinely rage inducing. It was filled with time waster puzzles and nothing felt challenging except the parts that made you angry. I have done around 50 escape rooms and this one may be my least favorite.

110 escape rooms
The Bureau has an interesting concept running through their games...no locks or keys. This makes for unconventional games with interesting puzzles that reach further in the "task" category. Excellent videos and voice acting, making the Dr Braingood character very fun to watch and listen to. If you can get past the initial "task", which was a bit tedious, many of the other tasks are very fun, including a caffeine themed logic puzzle and a brilliant stealth task that made us laugh. It was enjoyable and lighthearted, but I was quite surprised when we reached the end, maybe another puzzle or two could help?

Best part of the game was Dr. Braingood humor and timely presence. Puzzles were not hard - but involved. Room had some visually impressive elements but overall was underwhelming

I found this to be very creative and the clues were not obvious and also not mathematical or linear. The storyline was humorous as well, though there was an element that wasn't broken but very touchy that caused about a 10-minute delay trying to figure out what we'd already solved.

Goofy humor! This is a big laugh. I recommend almost all of the games at The Bureau, but this is the funniest.

The best part of the room is Dr. Braingood himself. Basically a caricature mad scientist with a German accent, the evil doc shows up in multiple videos throughout the experience, and theyβre all hilarious. The tasks themselves are ok, with the final stretch being an ordeal. The tech, as usual, is very impressive. If it werenβt for Dr. Braingood being a good brain doc, I might have gone mad myself in there!

From my understanding, this is meant to be a beginner-level escape room. If you're a veteran escaper and you're going into it with that in mind...it's okay. That being said, a lot of beginner escape rooms are also fun for veterans, and I didn't find this room living up to that standard. It specifically had two incredibly long and time-wasting puzzles, both of which are near the top of my "I hate these types of puzzles" list, so to slog through them both in the same room was a bit brutal. Even with those we finished with 13 minutes left on the clock. There apparently is also two different Braingood rooms with different visuals and potentially slightly different puzzles? We got the visually boring room (warehouse) so who knows, maybe the other room is better. The actor playing Braingood and the plot was pretty fun, but that was the highlight of the room for us.

The business shares a parking lot with a church, so be aware if you have a Sunday morning room booked. The lot does fill up.
