31 escape rooms
My only complaint was value. I didnβt think 45 minutes was worth the price. Overall, it was a solid experience though.
Gameplay
It was a solid room. It seemed more oriented towards being an βexperienceβ. Puzzles werenβt very difficult.
Atmosphere
Good design helped with the immersion.
Customer service
Staff was attentive and helpful.
Particularly interesting or different
No
It didnβt blow my mind.
Story
Story and immersion were the best feature of this experience.
Difficulty
Easy
It felt too easy, especially when the live actor became a participant and started doing puzzles for us.
Game tech
High tech
Mostly tech.
Ideal number of players
6
More players might actually be good in this room. Itβs pretty big and there are a lot of sub-rooms.
Scary
Spooky
I didnβt think it was too scary. Gave βpsych wardβ vibes.
Minimum age
15
A little older would probably be best for this room.
Was anything broken?
Yes
There was a thing that needed assembled, and the threads were stripped out on one piece. It didnβt adversely affect the experience too much though. We were still able to do what we needed to do.
Live actors
Yes
I generally donβt like live actors in escape rooms. At least they werenβt there to be obnoxious or try to scare us. I feel like it would be easy to make the live actor optional in this room. That would have improved the experience for me.
Physically active
Somewhat
At least one person needs to be able to crawl. Let the game master know at the beginning if you canβt crawl.
Accessibility
It could be a pretty accessible room. There is a puzzle that involves listening, and one that requires some height though. There are also some tight spaces.
Easy to find location
Yes
Found easily.
Parking
Medium
Street parking. We went on a weekday evening so it wasnβt bad. I imagine it could be tricky during busy times though.
Safety
Yes
I mean, being told to look in the camera at the beginning and verbally consent to being murdered didnβt help. π€·ββοΈ
