Was a fun room with cool elements

Forest of Fortune was our fourth game today at RI Riddle Room. This one took some time for us to get into the flow, maybe because we had already played three rooms. Lots to take in at the beginning. The story was a little hard to follow, but the flow was good and the puzzles were very good. A handful of props were very unique, one especially was a nice twist on a standard clueing technique. Thankfully were able to find our missing friend Justin just in time.

Great experience at RI Riddle Room! The game was well put together and very fun. Challenging for a group of 2 to accomplish, but we did it!

Just a heads up, the details in this review are from what I remember when I played. I am just trying to set a record for myself of all of my Morty rooms. My understanding is that they have updated the room since I have played it, so a lot of what I say may no longer apply. The story gets you hooked right away and gives you in a strong investment to finish your mission. The ending (when explained to us by the GM) was a little sad and unfulfilling. I guess there is no hard and fast rule that every story needs a happy ending but it struck me ass odd. The set was really good and gave you a wonderful immersion into this world and had lots of nice touches in the main chamber. I really loved the main tree in the room, not only for the look, but the reveal as well. Some of the pieces could use a touch up of paint but that is a minor quibble and doesn't take away from the game. The puzzles were a lot of fun. A nice variance from what I've seen in other rooms and give everyone something to work on. I always love a room that isn't linear. This is a great room for a larger party.

What a cool room with some exciting features. A couple of the props weren't working properly, but I think that might've been because we were playing the room so early after release, as far as I'm aware, those issues were fixed though, so enjoy that last room! This is such a neat room, I love the experience that RI Riddle Room constantly builds and enjoys. There are so many cool and memorable puzzles, I love hearing about others experiences in this room! Final rating: 6/10 One of the weaker rooms that RI Riddle Room has done, but still amazing and absolutely worth checking out.

This is a game clearly made with a lot of love, and it shows in the adorable set design and brilliant, expansive gameplay. You may think you’re close, but the game will surprise you and continue to do so right down to the final minute. Lots of diversity in puzzle design, which means everyone will have something to contribute. One of the best games in RI by a company who has skyrocketed in quality and continues to rise with each game. Bring a larger group if you can.

I brought 6 of my college aged students with various escape room levels to this room and we had a blast working through the room. The design and props made the room incredibly immersive. I am always impressed with the level of creativity that comes out of the RI Riddle Room.
