H.E.R.O.E.S.

Holy hijinks, Batman!! This room throws you into the world of heroes and villains with mixed results. The story was great! I have been a fan of the comics and the Superfriends since I was a child. The set throws your right into something straight out of your Saturday morning dreams. Giant supercomputers and creepy lairs abound and give the perfect immersion... if you don't look to close. As we played, we noticed that the set pieces and props were showing some wear and tear. This neglect also was felt in the puzzles as well. The connections for some of the electronic puzzles were faulty and didn't trigger without a little wiggling. The puzzles themselves were clever and well thought out and plentiful. There is a little too much to do for just two people so I recommend pulling together your own team of Avengers to tackle the challenge. Excelsior!!!

This room was set for retirement when my group played it, you could tell that some of the set and tech were nearing their end. That said, the room still had really fun puzzles, and while nothing was overly difficult, the satisfaction for solving puzzles was there. The major weakness here is theme, I’m really still not sure what we were doing in this room other than unfreezing superheros. It should be said that I am not the target audience for a superhero themed room. This doesn’t match the quality of some of Memphis Escapes better rooms, but if you can make it out before it’s retired, it’s well worth the trip!

We had to plan a last minute trip to Memphis to do this one before it closed! Glad we did because this was quite a fun room, though the story was pretty weak in conjunction with the room itself. Not too hard a room, but a good time!

I was not expecting this to be a medically themed room, I don’t do those as a rule, so this one was hard. We still got out and it was a cool room, but the main section was really rough for us. The room overall was cool and well designed, we were able to do it with one of us basically ignoring the room for half our time. Some cool puzzles, and really unique ending.

Excellent game! Great environment, innovative, challenging clues and puzzles, with a little bit of an ambiguous flow. Very immersive. This was the kind of game that is a little challenging to know what to do next, but we were able to figure it out eventually, and our game facilitator did an outstanding job of nudging us when we needed to be nudged. This was our first time at Memphis Escape Games (Eastside), our 41st escape room, and this location is easily in the top 3 we've ever played. Great staff and great game facilitation with timely clues. We will return to play more games at Memphis Escape Rooms (Eastside) and at their downtown location ASAP.

This room is all about teamwork and communication. The better you’re able to work with your team, the smoother this will be. Very high tech.

Very fun and interactive room. Some of the tech doesn’t quite work seamlessly (you have to push and hold things that need to be inserted to get it to register) but otherwise the room is great!
