Save Santa

Save Santa was our 2nd room we have done at Escapade 360 and it was a fun time. We knew this was going to be a basic Christmas room and nothing over the top special. We just wanted to do a Christmas themed room to get into the Christmas spirit. Although the room was fairly lock heavy, the puzzles were all fun and straightforward, and you could figure out which lock the code was for using the nearby clues. The Christmas decor was pretty standard and there were some fun mechanical type puzzles where you do something and a compartment opens up somewhere else…that’s always fun to experience no matter the simplicity. The decor with only the Christmas lights on made the room more immersive, but I appreciated that we also could turn on the overhead lights if we wanted the room to be more lit up to see things easier. More places should have this option for more lighting as I am not a fan of making things more difficult due to darkness. Dan (Owner and GM) gave us a good nudge when we spun our wheels on 1 puzzle, and was fun to talk to again, as we traded some ER stories afterwards. I appreciate that he is very open to feedback to make everyone’s experience better moving forward. If you are looking for some Christmas spirit fun, this is a decent Xmas room.

Good news, we saved Christmas! A cute festive room! I liked the themed puzzles, though some of the pen/paper puzzles weren’t as enjoyable. Lots of locks, but was never too overwhelming. I really liked the holiday lighting too. Families and younger players will probably enjoy this more, especially those who love the holidays like us. GM was fun and seemed like he enjoyed talking about escape rooms with us. Seems like this room is open outside of the Christmas season, but if you’re feeling especially festive, this will put you in the right mood!

Cute themed room. Maybe not the most immersive but still a fun experience.

Room looks pretty good but not much in the way of fun elements. Some annoying "puzzles" and nothing really made sense with us trying to save Santa from a kidnapper. OK for newbies, pass for enthusiasts.
