The long drive has taken the last ounce of energy out of your group. Your car slowly rolls up to the run-down driveway. If it wasn’t for the large red neon sign that reads Motel Betty, you would have missed it in the thunderstorm. Your group makes your way inside, only to find an empty front desk with a keycard that reads "011." Tired and not wanting to look for somewhere else to spend the night, you grab the keycard and head through the dark corridor. Little do you know, this will be a night filled with horror and insanity.

Really fun horror game with solid theming, an excellent variety of puzzles, and a live actor, though we didn’t really find it THAT scary! The set felt really massive, with multiple areas and transitions, plus plenty of cool ideas throughout. We escaped this 2-hour game in only 75 minutes but it still felt like an epic experience!

I had so much fun in this experience. The perfect horror escape if that is a theme you enjoy. The puzzle designs were varied and interesting. We escaped with 20mins left but I felt like the room was really well paced. I would recommend it for sure.
The game had a real clear route and order to it, there was no clunky stand around moments.
They’ve worked really hard to create a an intensely thematic experience. Every space was thought out and executed so well.

The live actor element was used in a way that was different to other live actor rooms I’ve played.
If I’m honest the story was strange and a little bit confusing. It wasn’t bad but I didn’t fully understand what the story was.

I finished Motel Betty a couple hours ago and I’m still riding a high. In my opinion it nails EVERYTHING; the set, flow, effects, immersion, puzzles, AND use of a live actor. Holy moly. Can’t recommend enough if you like a scary room- definitely the best I’ve done in the GTA. I was especially impressed with how fully immersed you feel in the story. The two hours were some of the most fun I’ve had in an escape room and flew by! My group didn’t finish but the staff does let you play out the end, which I really appreciated. For my group of four this did feel like a pretty difficult room despite the 3/5 difficulty rating, so I would recommend asking for hints (or taking a hint when the staff asks if you’d like one) and not being stubborn like we were for the first half of the game! Overall, fantastic room and a new fave. Can’t wait to try out the rest of the Omventure rooms- we’re all determined to get that elite status! 😂

I’d put this between spooky and scary. They do a great job with timing the live actor to keep it scary while not interrupting your gameplay.

Peak escape room. My favourite horror one so far. The effects were incredible and felt like I was in a movie. Highly recommend.
Everything was cohesive and flowed really well.
Atmosphere was amazing and very immersive. One part was broken and they needed to come in and fix it which broke the immersion.

One of my favourite games ever! Sure, there's a live actor and I'm terrified of horror themed games...but it was worth it! Amazing production value. Wish every escape room could be this amazing!

Highly recommended if you like spooky rooms. One of the best in Ontario if you like horror/scary. This includes both having great scare tactics but also high tech/interesting puzzles
So much fun. Puzzles and narrative all connected. Puzzles unique and great use of tech

OMG! I loved this freaking room!! I loved everything about it! I was scared s*** but I had to face my fears in a couple of the rooms. If you go in a big group (6 or more) don't sacrifice yourself.... I strongly recommend this to anyone that loves any scary themes!
