I finished Motel Betty a couple hours ago and I’m still riding a high. In my opinion it nails EVERYTHING; the set, flow, effects, immersion, puzzles, AND use of a live actor. Holy moly. Can’t recommend enough if you like a scary room- definitely the best I’ve done in the GTA. I was especially impressed with how fully immersed you feel in the story. The two hours were some of the most fun I’ve had in an escape room and flew by!
My group didn’t finish but the staff does let you play out the end, which I really appreciated. For my group of four this did feel like a pretty difficult room despite the 3/5 difficulty rating, so I would recommend asking for hints (or taking a hint when the staff asks if you’d like one) and not being stubborn like we were for the first half of the game!
Overall, fantastic room and a new fave. Can’t wait to try out the rest of the Omventure rooms- we’re all determined to get that elite status! 😂

I’d put this between spooky and scary. They do a great job with timing the live actor to keep it scary while not interrupting your gameplay.
