The Hot Dog Heist

This room could have just been a typical bank heist, and it would have been pretty good, but Hot Dog Heist elevates everything with its strange humorous premise and ridiculous macguffins like the golden weenie! This room isn’t afraid to inject something special to make it super memorable and against the grain. And it deserves lots of weenie points for it! The effort put into the room makes it far from the bratwurst heist room. I had so much fun! However, it would have been better if private rooms were the norm and not a big upcharge. We had a public room, and it was an ok experience, but it would have been better without strangers. That said, it did help to have an extra pair to tackle the many tasks. Another downside is ALL THE BACK AND FORTH CRAWLING… It’s pretty much mandatory because of the room’s design. Still enjoyed the room, but ouch for our wee knees. I love weenies!

This was a really fun room and theme. The staff was very nice. Puzzles were not super easy but not impossible to figure out. We had a 13 year old with us and she enjoyed it as well.

Hot Dog Heist was a pretty cool escape room. Slightly different than most “Heist” rooms which made it feel a bit more original. Puzzles weren’t overly complicated but there were definitely a ton of puzzles. I managed to escape with my parents who are very much novices with 35 seconds left.

Completed this room with my girlfriend, roommates, and two random people (a young couple). Had a great time, and loved the puzzle flow. The mission felt a bit convoluted at times, and it sometimes felt like there were too many cooks. The room was definitely physical and involved a lot of crawling between spaces, which made communication difficult sometimes. Overall, loved the theme, it was extremely unique!

Highly unique theme and specialized puzzles makes this an experience unlike most escape experiences! It feels a step above many rooms. Loved the playful and trope-filled atmosphere. Very creative and immersive props that went well with the theme. Never seen anything like this! Definitely visit if you're in the area. :)

Trapology has a lovely relaxing space. Some set pieces were a bit off center for the theme, but still enjoyable nonetheless and worth checking out.

This is a really fun room with a lot of puzzles. Rachel was our GM and was friendly and helpful. It was nice for teamwork, had a good variety of puzzles.

This room was so cute and so fun! We were able to complete it with two people with only a couple minutes to spare. We did not require hints to solve the puzzles, so it’s doable with just 2 people. However, I would definitely consider going with 3 or 4, mostly because we were speed-crawling around and screaming across the rooms to each other. It would be WAY easier to not do it with just 2. For us, 2 worked out nicely, plus we got some fun physical workout it, so it was a positive! It’s really up to the group and their experience level! The staff was so nice. We added this one on as a walk in after completing a different one at this establishment. I appreciate the staff’s honesty when we seemed skeptical of doing it with two people. They’re helpful and super respectful! We are looking forward to doing the rest of the rooms when we have time to return! Bonus points for not making yet another common, overdone “heist” theme. 👏🏻 love the creativity.

Had a great time. Must be a group of at least 3. Teamwork heavy but so fun.
