Deep in the dark forest, a cabin lies abandoned and yet passers will say they here screams and see an ominous red glow from its dark windows. Every instinct tells you to run and flee. And yet here you are, can not help yourself being drawn to it, calling your name. “You can’t find it if you’re trying. I only saw the cabin when I got lost! It felt like I was walking in circles trying to get away from it. It just had this ominous feel to it, like something dark happened there.” “Some say an old witch used to live there. She could be seen moving about from the shadows cast on her windows and the smoke billowing from her chimney. But that was all ages ago, there’s no way she could still be alive…could she? “I don’t want to get anywhere near that place. I came across it only once and it felt like every sense of joy had left my body. I swear I heard scratching sounds from the walls! I can’t get that sound out of my head.”

This room was pretty good. We’re getting old so these rooms that make darkness a part of the puzzles are starting to get frustrating! 🤣🤣🤣 would be a good beginner room, though!

This game did not flow super well. It was relatively non-linear and disconnected. Additionally, the decor was not super impressive. That being said, the storyline was really unique and spooky! The storylines are always great at The Box so I would expect nothing less.

The game play was fun but it was a little bit non-linear and it didn’t always flow well. Sometimes it wasn’t clear what went together.

The decor looked a little bit cheap but it wasn’t horrible. I wouldn’t say that it was super impressive or immersive but it was effective enough to create a fun game.

Some parts of this experience are really small. For that reason I would recommend 2-5 players, gameplay could handle more players but the space is too small.

This game says that it’s scary but I’d say that it’s just spooky. There aren’t any live actors or anything and the decor doesn’t look realistic enough to be super scary.

The website recommends 15+ but I think that’s a little bit extreme. This game is not terrifying in my opinion. There was maybe one jump scare.

This room has some really small spaces but nothing else to be concerned about mobility wise. Most challenges can be bypassed by team collaboration and communication.

A bit hidden but if you put it into the GPS it’s pretty easy to find. This room was not our first room at the location so we knew where we were going this time.

There isn’t a ton of parking right beside The Box but there is enough parking nearby.

This room had great atmosphere and created a spooky environment with good puzzles. There were a few puzzles and items that we didn’t use we were confused about. If we didn’t have those red herrings I think the room would have flowed a lot better. Overall, our group had a great item and didn’t get too scared.
