My favorite of the three OTC rooms, probably because it really just runs with the theme in all it's strange, campy glory. I didn't realize this was going to be a scary room going into it (although obviously the name is a bit of a clue), which is probably for the best. I had a very good time (except for one sequence, this room is far less scary then, say, Cornstalkers) and our NPC made things very fun. I really loved the bonus challenges and I kind of wished we had ordered some snacks, just to see how that worked. What a fun experience (special thanks to our GM, who was fantastic - we loved the tour of everything afterwards)!
The rooms are cooooold. I mean, I assume a morgue would be cold, but the whole building is cold.

This is definitely the scariest room they have. It's not really creepy but you definitely need one brave person at least in your group. This isn't a spoiler since it's revealed during the intro but it does take on a game show esqe method of solving, which definitely was cool and added an interesting layer. But it does really cause that rush when you don't know why points are necessarily being deducted from you. There's nothing too gorey about the room and has more an overt scare tactic vibe. If you have any phobias I would highly recommend mentioning it to your GM. Some puzzles it was hard to tell if you solved them or solved them correctly compared to the previous room, but I would say the puzzles were very interesting and I enjoyed them. Will definitely come back once they build out more rooms!

Again, an absolutely amazing experience. This one was my personal favorite of the three available chapters (my mom liked the first one the most!). There was a perfect balance between challenge/difficulty while still continuously progressing, opportunities to split up, and a unique game design/point system that was really fun and well implemented. Certainly a very unique room with a lot of love and effort put in. This narrative “chapter”-style game is phenomenal and carefully crafted to provide a mix between an escape room, a video game, and a choose your own adventure book. Shoutout to our lovely GM Ken, as well as Jo who helped out and the owner Nick, who is super nice and extremely passionate! Be warned for spooky/scary atmosphere, a live actor, and lots of gore.

Normally, if you go over an hour, the game ends, but the guy Mark didn't tell he would just charge us extra for every minute after. We paid wayyyyy too much and it would have been nice to know that, wasn't happy with that.

That said, we are having trouble reconciling this review with our records. We do not have any player history under the name Gabriel Flores, and none of our games are one hour experiences. Chapter 3: The Morgue is a two-hour booking, while Chapter 1 and Norcross are 1 hour 45 minutes and 90 minutes respectively. Our pricing and time policies are clearly outlined on our website, during booking, and reviewed with every group before gameplay begins. On the rare occasion we are able to offer extended time, it is always discussed with and approved by the group beforehand. We would genuinely like to look into this further. I loved the creativity in this room -- the set, the unusual style of puzzles, the non-mainroom structure, the narrative, and the cashback structure. I enjoyed the high parallelism -- 6 people was a great number for this room.

I am awful at anything scary, but I already completed 2 previous chapters so I felt like I needed to do The Morgue for the sake of the story. Despite my fear, I found this game really fun! You have the option to have a more or less scary experience, and if you go in a group it is definitely possible to have some members have a scary experience while others less so.

Loved this room. Much more scary than the first two chapters. Be prepared. No jump scares. Just thematically more scary than spooky (especially if you get into it). This was an amazing room. OTC really cares about its game design. And it shows. Puzzles are unique and appropriate for the theme.

We played all 3 chapters here this week and this one was my 2nd favorite. We played as a team of 2 and managed to escape this one with 10 minutes remaining, so it is very doable with any size group. 2 - 4 players would be a good amount for this room. It did seem inexplicably (possibly unnecessarily?) creepy, given what was going on in the story at this point… but hard for me to say since I don’t know where the eventual planned chapters 4 - 12 are going to go. I really loved the time pressure created by the game in this room. The bonus puzzles were the best part, enhancing the game by giving you some choices for who you will have experience certain puzzles. Overall, it was quite novel, challenging, and fun and I just loved the experience. One thing I can say for sure is that I will be very impatiently awaiting the release of the future chapters because I very much want to learn where this is all going!
