Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle Adventure

If you didn’t have any better rooms available and had to do a corporate room this one is ok. It’s got cute theming with a popular IP and kids will like it but the puzzles were awful - most WAY too easy and then a few frustrating confusing elements thrown in to just slow you down. It wasn’t an entirely bad room but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you had nothing else to do. Then sure, go talk to each other in a scooby voice for an hour.

On paper, this shouldn't be a good game. It's Escapology (which can be hit or miss), it's a licensed IP which can sometimes just be the name and some images thrown on a generic escape room. But Jinkies!! The game is great!! There are epic callbacks to the classic original Scooby-Doo Mysteries from the 80's. The puzzles flow well, starting off non-linear and then changing to a linear fashion as the game progresses. The set design in the beginning is ok but rest assured, you'll be pleasantly surprised once you go into to the next room. And here's something you'll rarely hear, but the game is so enjoyable, I would gladly play this again! Zoinks!! So if you're at an Escapology & this game is offered, this is a must-do. Then time permitting, do Under Pressure. If you are looking for some other ones, consider A Pirate's Curse or Mansion Murder, but I would say the first two are what you want to church out for sure!

This was such a fun room! For being themed after Scooby Doo these puzzles were fun for adults! The escape room staff and atmosphere was very profesional.

Great staff and clean building, the room looked pretty new and well kept. Not the largest of rooms and felt a bit cramped but it was a fun whimsical game. There were a few areas where you had to use color as a puzzle but the red and green lighting in the room changed the color of the puzzle, which did not feel intentional.

I wish that I liked this room more but unfortunately it was ridden with malfunctions and our game master was entirely unhelpful. The game was a great idea but the technology fell very short. Even the hint board was malfunctioning to the point that we couldn’t see any of our hints.

Fun room, not very challenging. Great for newer players or groups with kids. Personally not a fan of scent puzzles but this one was distinct enough scents it was fine. Had one mechanical malfunction but Riley was attentive and a great GameMaster overall.

I really enjoyed the theme. The only thing I didn't like it it's not really anything to do with the gam,e was when we got stuck on a part we got the answer instead of a hint.

Overall I enjoyed the concept but the game can use improvement. Look at my other review above for specifics.
