The Sunken Ruins

Awesome room! Tried to complete with just my parter and myself but got less than half way through. Because we are from out of town and we loved the room so much we had to finish and tried again that night. We were given a big discount for the 2nd try, greatly appreciated!! Our 2nd attempt we brought one more person for an extra set of hands and were able to completely finish! The room is very non-linear so definitely think it would keep a big group busy! Can’t wait to come back and try the other rooms.

This was an exciting take on an "escape" room. Instead of trying to escape you are trying to score as many points as possible by solving puzzles. The puzzles follow the standard types of escape room puzzles, but you earn points for the objects you liberate. Great room, and exciting to get to use your entire hour when you team usually gets sub 45 minutes in 1 hour rooms.

It was a very different escape experience! You solve puzzles to collect money, not to escape. We were so close to being on the leader board! Very fun, lots to do, kid friendly.

This was one of my all time favorite rooms, like the other reviews said it isn’t your typical escape room format, but we enjoyed the many puzzles that took up the hour. Our team of 4 managed to snag 8/9 of the “main treasures” but had a ton of fun doing the various puzzles. There were enough for everyone to be working on something at the same time. The ending of the story was a little surprising for us but we still enjoyed ourselves a lot.

We loved this room. It's different from a typical escape room in that the goal is not to escape but to accumulate points within the story. There are SO many puzzles. We didn't solve everything but did pretty well (we got 5 of 9 "big" items). We would actually go back and play again so we could try all the puzzles we didn't get to! Well built and everything worked perfectly. Plus, as other reviews said, Carter is an amazing GM!

WOW! I’ve done a lot of rooms but this was a very deep experience that was PERFECT for our above average size group of 6. SO much to do. Lots of rooms with tons of unique puzzles. Very well designed overall. Our game master Carter was super kind, helpful, and genuine. I’d call it a “must do” in Portland for sure!

It was a great escape room with plenty of rooms and puzzles. We did it with six players and I have no idea what a lot of the puzzles were since we were all working on mostly different things the whole time. This was also a novel one in that the goal was less about time and more about getting as much treasure as possible. Also Carttter was a great host!

Great room, Jordyn was a fantastic GM!

We really enjoyed this game. The set was fun and we kept on discovering more and more!!
