Cell Block 4

I don't know what I think of this room. We had mentioned in the beginning we would ask for clues when we wanted them, but the GM kept throwing clues up on the screen. We became frustrated after the eighth or ninth clue and were told we wouldn't receive any until asked. That lasted all of ten minutes before we were spoon fed the rest of the room. The set was really amazing. It had a great prison feel and lots of fun things to discover. Puzzles were varied and gave us a lot to do but I have no idea if we would have solved them or not. We enjoyed ourselves and would have liked to have done it with one or two friends.

We have loved every room we’ve done at Lara’s so far. The room was slightly modified to be able to be played by just 2 of us. The puzzles all flowed well and we never felt stuck. One particular puzzle threw us for a loop for a few minutes, we made some nonsense answers, but we worked it out on our own and needed no hints. The set design was great and I would definitely recommend giving this room a try.

We loved this room! It was super memorable. The way you start in the room is unique, and the atmosphere is solid. I went with a few people that have had less experience with escape rooms and we all had a blast. I’d highly recommend it!

Great room setting and structure! Some puzzles were really fun and on-theme, and other puzzles felt a little out of place for the environment, but overall we thought it was a great room and had a really lovely time. Escaped in 65min 40sec as a team of two (thanks to the GM for the bonus time!)

Loved this room! Great set, super immersive and unique. Really feels like you’re in jail. You start off separated with everyone locked in their own cell!! Unless you have more than 4 people, then some would be locked together. Super fun, lots of puzzles, lots to find.

Very cool room. Recommend having 4 players. Did have a few instances where certain props didn’t work or were out of batteries. Overall really liked this room.

The set and start of this game is different and fun, but there is so much more they could have done in this room. The game play relies on one clue source to provide puzzle answers and move the game along. So big groups may easily sideline players inadvertently.
