Permanently Closed - What started out as a casual tour through the White House with your friends has turned into something much more serious. The President of the United States, who becomes trapped in an elevator while being whisked to the White House Situation Room by the Secret Service, informs you that the nation is in grave danger. A submarine in the Pacific Ocean has launched a nuclear missile targeted right at the White House! The countdown is on as you and your team have 60 minutes to find the launch codes hidden throughout the Oval Office to activate the Steel Shield anti-ballistic missile system to save the nation's capital from destruction. And then you have to escape... Good luck.

I was saddened to hear that this company permanently closed. It was a great room designed by someone who obviously loved escape rooms and really knew what it took to make them special. The story seemed at first your typical Oval Office theme where you are trying to stop the nuclear annihilation of all you hold dear, but you quickly realize that this is so much more. The set is stunning!! The detail that went into capturing the White House was beyond compare. I loved all of the little touches - especially the summoning button for the Diet Coke! The puzzles were extremely unique and could be customized for you so that you could make it even more of a challenge for you. Speaking of personalization, one of the answers to a puzzle was my last name. The owner, who was also the GM, told us after that he has a few ways to customize the experience for the players. Speaking of customizing, one of the images that showed up on the time screen during the game was a collage of Presidential images which also included pics of my husband and cats that he had pulled from Facebook. Creepy or cool - you be the judge?!?!? All in all, this was a great experience and if I ever hear of him returning I will make a beeline for his endeavors!
