Sherlock Holmes has been kidnapped. Last night, hooded figures broke into 221B Baker Street and kidnapped the famous master detective. It seems his investigation has uncovered things that one of his nemesis may not have wanted Scotland Yard to know. The next morning, Scotland Yard received an anonymous letter, which contained no ransom demand, but simply announced that the master detective would meet his deserved end at noon, and then nothing would stand in the way of taking over the London underworld.
