This is the newest room and has some really cool tech. Very well themed and lots of unique puzzles we haven't seen before. The owners take a lot of pride on this place and you can tell. This room was fun for us, a little harder I would say. Especially for just two people.

There's only 1 puzzle in here that I thought was a bit annoying and even it was a fun challenge that I'd never seen before.

Took my daughter and her friends to celebrate her 14th birthday. We did Sweet Lou’s Great Candy Caper. It was the first time going to an escape room, so I was a little skeptical. But I was pleasantly surprised!! We had a blast. Lots of laughs (probably why they needed so many clues because they couldn’t stop laughing long enough to think). They did not stop talking about the experience the rest of the night and are trying to figure out when they can go again. Wes was a great game master and kept it fun….I’m sure he had some laughs along the way watching and listening to the girls trying to solve the clues.

Another work of art by the owners at this location. This room has handcrafted details, both big and small, that contribute to the overall immersion. The tech used is playful and super impressive. There were a few times where I scratched my head thinking about how they were able to accomplish some of these builds in this room. The experience and the sequence of puzzles are thoughtfully orchestrated with the short story and really makes the enjoyable experience memorable.

Boxed In hands down has the best all-around escape rooms I've done. But Sweet Lou (especially next to 90s Nostalgia and Sasquatch) left me wanting a little more. I wouldn't recommend it for more than two people as there's not much in the way of simultaneous puzzle solving; the ending felt a bit abrupt too. If you go into this room expecting Boxed In Lite, you'll still have a great time and Sweet Lou is still leagues better than 90% of what else is out there. Just don't expect a room on the level of their others.
The staff at Boxed In is so wonderful.
