It looks like some of our camp counselors read that weird book they found in the forest, and now Camp Slashers is plagued with monsters! You will need to be trained on proper axe-throwing self-defense (and other fun games) to protect yourself from the undead! Slashers is the only venue in Southern California to offer hatchet and big axe throwing, interactive projected targets, and draft beer. Slashers is from the same creators of Cross Roads Escape Games in Anaheim.

We had such a great time at Slasher’s and are definitely going to come back again! For an Ax Throwing location, this one was very attentive, detail-oriented, interactive, and immersive. The bar becomes animated, so be sure to watch out for it every hour! The creators are the same ones from Crossroads Escape Rooms, so for horror enthusiasts, this was the Place because each lane had a “villain,” the bar had themed horror movie/villain drinks, and they even had a horror/scary movie playing. (When we were there, it was Poltergeist lol). I would highly recommend this place for sure!

Found out about Slashers from REPOD and knew I would have to try it out even though I'm not much into spooky or horror. The theming is so well done with heavy attention to the details behind the bar and I didn't find myself feeling out of place in the space at all. Absolutely will be making this a regular spot of mine. Came as a team outing with my workplace, and found it to be such a perfect place for that. We were able to buddy up throughout multiple lanes so everyone could participate. So nice that we could all pick different games to play as well.
Not scary
Some elements could be considered spooky, and they did have horror movies playing on the tv's above the bar, but easy to avoid if you don't want to see them.
LOVED the special effects, especially the ability to play lots of different games while you're throwing

Immersive experience.
Yes
Theming was top notch and I wasn't expecting such an immersive experience with the staff interactions for some portions of the evening. REALLY loved that the throwing lanes had more than just a standard target to play with.

Good for teens and up, however do keep in mind that alcohol is served on the premises.
Very
Throwing axes is a fairly physically active experience. They did have both hatchets and axes, with two different weights of hatchet as well.
Some flashing lights at moments, lighting overall is quite dim, but floors are flat with ample space to move around tables.
Staff was amazing, they were great at explaining the rules, super kind when dealing with my group forgetting rules, and over all very accommodating.
No wait
Went on a Wednesday at opening. No wait, we were the only party there.
None
Flashing lights at some moments, horror movies do play on the tv's above the bar, and there is a spooky element that happens at some intervals.
Good
Good sized parking lot available, however it could get crowded and harder to find parking during busier times. If you're able to car pool or ride share for a larger group that may be helpful.

Slashers was so much fun and I can’t wait to take my friends back! Highly gamified axe throwing with an immersive spooky theme. A must go for horror movie fans! The scenic design and attention to detail was absolutely incredible

Went on a Friday but there’s a bar to drink at and watch a range of horror movies while you wait, so it wasn’t a hassle at all!

I came for the grand opening party and WOW, this place was amazing! The whole place is themed like a haunted summer camp and the bar is full of horror movie props for you to find. The beer selection is great (loved the La Llorona Mexican Lager), and the projected targets brought the games to a new level. We played Battleship, alien invasion, and bowling. There is also a selection where you can throw at horror movie monsters! There were more games we didn’t have time to get to, that I will definitely be back for. You can see all the added safety precautions they have taken (compared to other venues I have visited) and our camp counselor was excellent at showing us the techniques and jumping in for additional coaching throughout our session. Slashers provides a super cool environment, fun games, and great drinks. I will be back!
