According to legend, immediately following the Church Hill Tunnel collapse in 1925, a gruesome figure with sharp pointed teeth and flesh hanging from its’ body emerged from the rubble and dashed towards the Hollywood Cemetery, disappearing into the W.W. Pool Mausoleum. Now, you have a chance to venture into the mausoleum for yourself in an attempt to discover what really happened that night of the Tunnel collapse.

The story we were told before entering the room was gripping and exciting. The story we got upon entering the room was not only not the same story, it fell apart and became boring and tired. The puzzles didn’t really feel organic, and I found myself ready to be done with the room when the final puzzle was revealed. That being said, I could see how someone would really enjoy this room, especially if you’re newer to the industry! I just feel like the story became too generic and vague, and the puzzles didn’t feel rewarding.

We were sent into find a time orb, and as soon as we were in the story changed and the overarching theme was forgotten.

Two puzzles involving lights were broken. We were still able to bypass, but could lead to confusion

With a few tweaks to the environment and cluing, this room has potential and could be up to par with the other two games at this location. Unfortunately, a few broken puzzle elements, vague cluing, and unnecessary low lighting and darkness made our experience rather clunky. This company is still worth a visit, but I’d recommend checking out their other two games, especially Shadow of Whitechapel.
A couple of fun puzzles, but a lot of busy work translating glyphs to alphabet many times during the gameplay. One puzzle too vaguely clued, so it needed a bit of random guess and check.
The set design looked solid and was fun to explore, but the low lighting at times made it unnecessarily difficult to move past two steps. They don’t allow cell phone flashlights, but the GM does offer a flashlight if you’d like - I’d recommended taking it!
Very friendly and welcoming staff who got us right into the game. GM was quick to intervene and assist when one puzzle element wasn’t working, but we had to ask for a clue on a different puzzle element that didn’t work the first time we tried. Had to describe our progress after asking for another hint, but I’m guessing the GM couldn’t see that puzzle on camera.

Unique story and environment you can’t find elsewhere in Chattanooga, but might not particularly stand out to a group who has played a good number of escape rooms.
The environment, lighting, and sound helped enhance the story, all building to a fun final moment, but ultimately we never completed the original story mission given to us during briefing.
Hard
A few non-linear elements, searching, and vaguely clued puzzles might make this room pretty difficult for first timers or those new to escape rooms.
High tech
Entirely tech puzzles other than one lock (which made sense for the environment).

Spooky
Creepy environment and a couple of startling noises here and there, but definitely not scary.

Two separate puzzles each had an element that wasn’t lighting up. You could still work with them and solve each puzzle, but one required guess work and the other required the GM to tell us it was still working. A third puzzle didn’t seem to work when we first tried it, but later worked on another attempt.

Not very physical other than one moment of ducking down low.
Ducking/crawling required if you want to experience the full game (no bypass), but not all players need to do so to complete the game. Many puzzles require at least one player to read. Color used in two puzzles.

Front is clearly marked with a huge sign!
Easy
Plenty of parking in the large parking lot out front, just steps from the door.

I wish there was a middle ground button, however I went with the thumbs down overall due to a few things. There are a few puzzles that have zero indication on where to find them or how they function. I will say there is something in the room that looks like a wall decoration, but, it's definitely a puzzle. The other thing was another part of a puzzle was almost impossible to see due to the lighting in the room.
