35 escape rooms
If you're looking for an Indiana Jones-like thriller where you uncover mysteries and evade traps in a cool temple like this room's branding subtly implies... the Chamber of Lost Legends probably isn't it. Its archaeology and study of the mystic themed puzzles were alright, but their detachment to the bare-bones story left me somewhat wanting.
Gameplay
It felt a bit too linear at the beginning, but opens up later.
Atmosphere
The aim of the room didn't really align with the puzzles. There was also no music, just a mechanical whirring noise and some quiet sound effects sometimes. While the room is implied to be Indiana Jones-esque, I didn't get that feeling at all.

Story
The only story elements were a couple messages addressed to us which said roughly the same thing, the backstory (which was fine) and the existence in the room of a special machine hidden away (though we're never really told why that is?). The room also ended without much build-up or fanfare, it just felt like we solved another puzzle.

Was anything broken?
Yes
I assume the room hadn't been fully reset properly at the beginning. The host caught this just before we entered so this wasn't an issue, and even integrated this into the backstory a little. However, when we entered, one of the final first room boxes was still unlocked. Wasn't an issue, we just relocked it.
