Exorcism: Demonic Idols

A fun Halloween treat with references to the Exorcist! It’s not crazy scary, though if you’ve never done a spooky room or get startled easily, the darkness, props, and jump scares may get you. Though it wasn’t too scary for us and we don’t like jump scares. The worst part is easily the darkness, and some puzzles are going to be very hard to finish without a hint. It didn’t help that a prop was broken that we needed for a puzzle. The props otherwise are properly spooky and have cool effects. Some puzzles gave us fun aha moments. The set was mostly ok, but did give a loved in creepy vibe. The ending leaves a little to be desired, especially compared to other demonic rooms. There’s probably better time to be had at haunts and haunted houses for the Halloween season, but this isn’t a bad choice if you’re looking to get rid of some of those demons. You’ll never get us though! Now excuse me while I spin my head 360 degrees mwa ha ha ha!

Pretty decent room. Overall was okay. Nothing out of the norm or innovative. Some of the puzzles were lack luster and needed some more nudging then most rooms i’ve done.

A decent escape room that didn't feel as good as some of this brand's other horror-themed rooms. Their Conjuring and Insidious rooms feel more polished with a higher scare factor. While there are jump scares and some creepy factors within this room, it really is not all that scary. It feels a bit budget, especially compared to the aforementioned rooms, though it does have nice elements. The atmosphere is solid despite the cheaper feeling, and the puzzles were intuitive and straightforward even if none were particularly novel. Overall it's a decent room that builds atmosphere even if it never really stood out to us.
