Rob the Mob: Break-in at Bubba's

A fun yet mildly challenging escape room. I completed this with my father and a wonderful duo of strangers. The set design was well-made, and the puzzles were neither too difficult nor too easy, however some could have been more challenging. The staff was incredible, however it is Luke, I believe his name was, who particularly stands out. Overall, a very fun and welcoming atmosphere with a well-made escape room. Wonderful time, certainly reccomend.

Lots of frustrating puzzles.

We got stuck on some items that were not relevant (Fishing in the wrong room, trying to go on the other side of the mouse trap…) The room was too heavy with locks and felt underwhelming compared to other games we’ve played.

This was a fun experience, though I give it an automatic points off for being a public room. There isn’t a lot of room for the 8 people crammed into tiny spaces. Besides that, the room had good puzzles, though it will probably be nothing you haven’t seen before if you’ve done a lot of rooms. I appreciated the variety of skills the tasks required, and use of voiceover and lighting was effective. Despite the name, there is no mafia or gang. The “mob” is Bubba’s group of pawn collectors, so the whole setting is a pawn shop. Would I recommend breaking in at Bubba’s? Yes if you want some good pawn shop themed puzzles and don’t mind strangers, then whatsamatter you, try it out! But if you don’t want to have a public experience for what is otherwise a mostly slightly above average room, then fuggedabout it!
