The atmosphere of the room was OK, The ending really pushed this from a meh to good experience. There were some good puzzles and some really questionable puzzles during the experience, but it really sticks the landing in the end. We required a number of clues. Even after receiving the clues, we felt one of the puzzles was a stretch to get, which knocked the enjoyment down.

Gameplay

Overall ok. We thought the last puzzle and last half was fun and very intense with a cool mechanic. The clue leading to this second half was pretty frustrating really required a leap of logic to figure out. We did not like that aspect.

Atmosphere

It's a good office space that is nicely decorated and themed.

Particularly interesting or different

No

Mostly no, except for the ending and a cool mechanical device. It wasn't very different overall.

Story

Story was decent, but the telling of the story via the clues was pretty scattered.

Difficulty

Hard

We would not have solved some of the puzzles without taking some clues. There were a number of very easy puzzles as part of the experience as well.

I don't think a wheelchair would work in this environment.

Parking is behind the venue and accessed via a driveway connected to the next building, so a little hard to find the parking. Plenty of spaces though.

My niece decided last minute she really wanted to do something for her birthday, and this place was a few minutes away from where we had lunch so we booked their next opening. It got off to a rocky start. When I called to book, the woman emphasized that we needed to arrive 15 minutes early and might need to look for parking. We got there 15 minutes early, there is a large private lot so parking was easy, we were greeted, and then just had to sit there waiting. And there’s not anything to do like in other places where there’s at least puzzles to keep you entertained. But once our game master took us back to our room, he was great. My niece realized her and her friend had already done the room we booked recently so the game master switched us to another one right away. I was a little bummed that there wasn’t much variety to the types of locks. There was one key, one letter combo lock, and all of the rest were 3 or 4 digit locks. So until the end, you didn’t know which lock the code you’d cracked might be for. Luckily we had a large group so we could try all the similar locks at once. I would have liked more variety in the puzzles instead of just figuring out a bunch of letter combos. I think there might have been one or two sensors two. But again, our game master was great. He gave us several clues. And the kids were super excited (ok, so were us adults) to have been able to escape in time.

The Spy Room: Our mysterious neighbor had been acting very odd lately. Naturally, we assumed he must be a spy. After sneaking into his room, we were trapped and had to find a way out while discovering his dark secret along the way. The Attic: Granny has hidden the secret to her fortune somewhere in the attic. We had to find it if we hoped to inherit her fortune. Pros: The owner/game moderator was very friendly, clarified the rules, and provided timely assistance when we were stuck (Which was unfortunately quite often in this room). The set was neat and tidy. The puzzles were solvable with hints and there were some nice surprises along the way. Cons: Multiple puzzles at once confounded us at times. The puzzles themselves had some logical fallacies that required us to ask for clarification. We needed a lot more help due to some complex clues. The storylines were simple and common for the escape room industry. The set-designs were basic and nothing to write home about.

A bit dated of an escape room. Would be better if they updated it a bit.

This was my first time playing with strangers, and it was certainly challenging. Thankfully everyone was friendly, but geez this room kicked us. I can see why people might not have cared for the many red herrings and tasks that took a lot longer than expected or relied heavily on just finding things. We were close, but nope we failed. It was alright overall, and I still had a decent time (especially since this was the first time I took my mom and sister with me), but I can understand why other reviews say this might not be the most ideal room for seasoned escape room players. The staff was friendly overall.

Very old fashioned escape room, puzzles were disjointed and not sophisticated. There was a lot of “seeking” rather than being hinted toward solutions or puzzles. Multiple red herrings, which didn’t add to the room. We played with a large group of first timer teens who enjoyed themselves playing simultaneous rooms against each other, but wouldn’t recommend to experienced players.

This facility has its elements of challenge. I have tried this with one other person but highly recommend with 4-6 as there are a lot of pieces to the puzzle hint hint more hands helps. The staff is very helpful and reins true to most escape room hidden unless you want to find.

Overall, we had fun, but mostly because the puzzles and clue system was pretty bad. Gen 1 room for the most part. Unlike most rooms, look everywhere, just don’t break stuff. When we finished, the ending was anti-climatic. Everything worked, but not for seasoned Escape Room people.
