Jewel of the Sea

Went over by 20 seconds, I’m still calling it “escaped” 😅 It is a very creative use of small space with great atmosphere. Got a couple puzzles/props I’ve not seen before. Even the clue system was whimsical! I’d recommend it for 2 strong players or 3-4 regular players. The space is too small for more than that.

Another lovely set piece with stunning immersive details at this location. Great use of audio to move the story forward, letting you know you are progressing. Dim lighting proved to be a downfall for us, and even though we did finish I wish we had been a little more thorough in our searching from the very start. We loved all the little clever touches and the tiny bits of humor woven in. The one very large puzzle was impressive and though we solved it, it was quite difficult for just the two of us, especially trying to find the correct path. All items we interacted with felt substantial and sturdy and genuine, (well, maybe not the gold?) making it a joy to "handle."

The room was really fun. They had a near gimmick to it which made it very fun.

We recently did the pirate adventure room and had an awesome experience. The immersion was fantastic right from the start. The decor and overall feel of the room were incredibly well done, and the staging room was such a great touch because it immediately pulled you into the theme and made it feel like you were traveling to a new destination before the game even began. The puzzles were challenging in a good way — engaging, clever, and fun for the whole group. We finished just 3 minutes over, so it definitely kept us working the whole time. I had helpers with me ages 8, 12, and 14, and they all had a great time being part of it. The crew was fantastic, the facilities were wonderful, and we also loved that they had little puzzles to solve while you waited. That extra detail made the whole experience even more fun. Overall, this was a great escape room experience and we would absolutely come back.

Was a great themed room with an awesome enthusiastic GM who carried us forward. Got a little stuck on some parts that could've been solved quicker but we had fun with the theme. Was maybe a little small for our group of 7 but was fun.

Finally got the chance to come back and play this room, and after hearing how this is Intrepid best games I wanted to play it for awhile, walked in with high expectations. Somehow, it didn’t just meet them, it blew right past them. Every puzzle I uncovered or completed brought a genuine rush of excitement, that yes! moment that reminds you why escape rooms are so fun. I absolutely loved every second of it. Can’t wait to come back to Intrepid for Tipsy Tailor next!

Had a wonderful time at this room! I did this just with my girlfriend and both of us haven't done a lot of escape rooms and the guide gave us very helpful hints that didn't ruin the experience or make it too easy. The theming was amazing and really well done and had a lot fun surprises along the way. It works very well with two people and I could see it being very fun with a larger group using less hints as well

A few mistakes setting up the room made our group waste time which I didn’t like obviously. I think you should not play this with more than 4-5 players. Less than 4 would be difficult though. Very short but really cool set design and novel puzzles.

i honestly think this is my favorite room ive ever played. we came in feeling super immersed and the theming was absolutely phenomenal. quinn was the sweetest and most fun game master ever :) i loved how there were no combination locks, it made the puzzles more creative and our way for asking for hints was also super fun. we loved it so much we played a second game tonight! highly recommend everyone checks this place out at some point! also bonus points for the lobby being rly well decorated!
