Wieder ein absolut unfassbar guter Raum. Nicht super schwer, aber wieder mit einer packender Story, grandiosem Rollplay und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet.

Another absolutely incredible room. Not super difficult, but once again featuring a gripping story, fantastic role-play, and a very lovingly decorated space.

Vecnas Game by Finest Escape was our first room of the day and also the kickoff experience of our Bavarian Escape Tour. We played it as a team of 4, and it’s currently the latest game from this company, with Prestige on the horizon. The second out of 8 rooms we’re playing from this company on this trip.

The waiting area was a Tiki bar style waiting room, a fun and casual touch. After a warm welcome and the standard rules briefing, we entered the room, where the game starts with an in-character intro by the GM. While the idea is immersive, for me personally the intro felt overly long and lacked the energy or acting quality to really pull us in. This might also be because I’m not deeply invested in the Stranger Things universe (watched season 1 and part of 2), which is the central theme of the room.

That said, sound, lighting, and visual effects were a highlight, very well executed and clearly a big strength of the room. The set design and transitions were solid, though I missed more 80s memorabilia to truly feel immersed in that era.

Gameplay wise, it’s a 75 minute room, and we finished with 7 minutes to spare, though we did hit a couple of frustrating puzzle moments. The puzzles worked, but none stood out as particularly innovative or memorable.

Overall, it’s a well produced room with great audiovisual immersion, but unless you’re a big fan of Stranger Things, it may not leave a lasting impression.

Recommended mainly for fans of the series, or players who value high production design over deep puzzling.

Such great acting and a super fun experience. Overall, the best Stranger Things room I have played. And one very cool wow moment in the middle!

I also loved how most of the puzzles fit the theme and the 80s perfectly (there are a couple minor exceptions, but they did not distract from the experience).

With Vecnas Game, Finest Escape has once again created an adventure that completely draws you in during its 75-minute runtime. Mystery and goosebumps are guaranteed here. As always, the live acting is top-notch. A must-play for all fans of STRANGER THINGS👍👍👍👍👍
