Recently there have been some vampire sightings in the area and we have called on our very best vampire slayers to come help us. You have arrived an hour before sunset, soβ¦time is of the essence.

This room is awful. The worst room we've ever done next to their grandma's master plan. I would not recommend.

This was my 198th room and the first I have ever walked out in the middle of. It is awful. Do not recommend at all. I do not normally leave reviews but wanted to warn others to not waste their hard earned money on this room.

Having completed and escaped over 40 escape rooms, I felt some of the puzzles were very janky. It was even unclear on whether some puzzles were solved or not. One of the puzzles had been discontinued, but the contraption was still present, so there was a lot of confusion with interacting with it. We were also told there was a limited resource that we had for a puzzle, so it made us be very stingy with using it (when in fact we did not need to be as stingy and the puzzles wouldn't be able to be completed without using a certain amount of the resource). The room had some excellent and very unique puzzles, however, there needs to be a bit more feedback and clarify to make the experience more enjoyable.

Alice in Wonderland: Alice is on trial for crimes she didn't commit. We had to rush in and find the evidence to prevent an unfair conviction. Jumanji: Sucked into the game world of Jumanji, we had to find a way to survive and return to reality. Dracula: Vampires beware, the slayers have arrived. We practiced our best Buffy, Xander, and Willow impressions, and prepared to vanquish some revenants. Pros: We can definitely confirm that after playing three games at their Melrose location, 60Out lives up to its reputation as the best of the best in Southern California. First, we'd like to thank our gamemasters, Leslie and Noah, who were consistently enthusiastic and helpful through every game. Our experience was that much better thanks to them. Second, we'd like to thank 60 out for their private room policy. We truly appreciate playing by ourselves (no random strangers). This appears to be an increasingly rare practice and we definitely appreciate it so much more now. As we have come to expect from 60Out, the set design in all the rooms (especially Jumanji) was totally immersive. From the dark cemetery of Dracula to the jungles of Jumanji, we found ourselves completely engrossed in the storylines. Our favorite, with regard to puzzles, was Alice in Wonderland. Although we felt like the Mad Hatter at times scratching our head in an effort to deduce the meaning of each hint we uncovered, we found the odd challenges exceptionally satisfying. Jumanji was hands down awesome. From set-design to storyline to puzzles, this is a must-do experience. Seriously, get over there and play it now! Cons: Fingers-crossed that the tech holds-up after multiple players. These games our top-notch but we worry about their ability to handle the wear and tear of time. We struggled quite a bit on the puzzles in the Dracula game and felt that they could be slightly modified to improve the player experience. We failed to finish with about 60% of the game left to solve. This definitely lowered our success rate. We are chalking this one up to complicated puzzles. We enjoyed it nevertheless and definitely recommend you play Dracula. Bring a group of 4-6 though. The more brains the better in defeating the tricky revenants. We cannot offer enough praise to 60Out. Seriously they just keep rockin' it!

Had a little technical difficulty at the beginning that set us back quite a bit, but our Game Master was gracious enough to add some time back to make up for it. This was when it was brand new, so that kink may have been worked out by now!

Beautiful room. Perfectly themed. Very dark, but not too hindering. Very satisfying for classic vampire fans.

Too dark lol. Puzzles were interesting though. But holding the lantern button the entire time gets old.

This room was a doozy. Much of the tech didnβt work as intended, which was frustrating. Some of the clues very clearly said something that was different than what was needed. And youβre just stumbling around in the dark for an hour. The puzzles were so complicated that we needed a clue on pretty much every single one, and weβve all successfully completed over 50 escape rooms. I would not recommend this room to anyone. But we did the Ghost Ship at this same location, and that one was much better!
The set design was cool, but a lot of the props were faulty.

It wasnβt great. Weβre very experienced escapers and we needed hints for every puzzle. Not a fan of that sort of room.
Most games were just very old and fickle

This was the worst Escape Room I've every done out of 37. The light in the first room didn't work and the game master told us to use our flashlights (after 30 minutes of nothing working), which didn't work either on what it was supposed to, so we spent most of the time in first room. You also needed to read, which we couldn't until we started using our flashlights. Way too dark in that room to be expected to read things. Terrible. I would not recommend this to anyone. We didn't escape b/c the room was basically broken and we've escaped much harder rooms and EVERY room within the past 7 years (34 of them). This is the lone failure due to the game being broken and I'm still bitter. I'll also add that some of the logic was quite a leap and the game just didn't flow as every other escape room I've tried.
Not scary
