You finally scheduled that rejuvenating anti-aging treatment at the posh med spa downtown. All your friends have done it and you've been dying to try- but is beauty worth dying for? You’ve seen the countless horror stories of botched cosmetic treatments, but you’ve also become a little obsessed with some of the Instagram-worthy success stories. You've even started following the before and after photos of the local medical spa and plastic surgeons at Bâclé Medical (sounds so French!). The surgeons' results are incredible and patients hardly even look like the same person anymore. It is probably why the average clientele are insanely rich and incredibly famous. You’ve decided to take the plunge and have scheduled a day full of treatments. The office instructed you to let your work and family know you may need a few weeks for recovery and should not be disturbed. You showed up for your appointment 15 minutes early, blindly signed the pages and pages of consents, and eagerly awaited for the nurse to call your name. Maybe it is just your nerves, but you are beginning to realize things are not as they seem. Maybe it's the way the surgeon and nurse referred to you as “the product” and looked at you with dollar signs in their eyes. Or, maybe it's the way the facial neurotoxin they injected you with has started to freeze more than your face! You have 60 minutes to escape this medical nightmare or you'll find out the hard way why people always say "beauty is pain."

Among the best rooms we've done (we've done 135). And the theme of this room is one we've never seen done before. They have lots of unique, well thought out, well executed puzzles that are fully integrated into the room's theme. The decor is great, really immersive. And the sisters running Break From Reality are such lovely people. Do not miss this!

A tiny, tiny bit creepy in a few places. People who are squeamish about medical stuff might have a little trouble, but it is not horror or anywhere near that. No jump scares. Just medical themed.

A well thought out and decorated room. We liked there was "connecting tissue" tying the solved puzzle code to which lock it goes to. Felt it was a fresh take on puzzles, not a recycle of puzzles we have seen in other rooms. Very immersive, felt like we were actually in the rooms they're designed after. Looking forward to coming back for another amazing experience!

Not exactly a linear room, you can solve things is various sequences but always flowed.

Room was well designed. Wasn't overwhelmed with information but had to look for what was important.

Customer service

Leilani was a great GM. Chimed in to confirm our solution was correct in one case and spent time with is afterwards.

Very fun room. The atmosphere was high quality and felt like stepping into a real spa. Puzzles were non-linear, some of them were really clever, and there was plenty to do and see. We had a great time.

This room was my favorite of all Three. Lots of puzzles and interactive overall in the room. Great puzzles and fun to continue to the next. The theme and setup was really thought out and gave us a great way to spend our trip to VA! Definitely recommend

This room was so well done. They really kept to the medical theme and had numerous puzzles that I’ve never seen before. I was so impressed and had a blast! Great room!!!

We have played a lot of escape rooms and Botched presented us puzzles that were unique and creative. The owners are wonderful sisters who show a true passion for creating an exceptional experience before, during, and after the room!! Highly recommend them and can't wait for more rooms to come online!!

Great game! Immersive, excellent puzzles that made sense, and just plain fun! Lots of puzzles, too! We usually get out of a 60 min room in about 30, and we had less than 10 less in this game-. Felt like we got our money’s worth 😂 Highly recommend!!
