Frankenstein

Franky baby you’re alive!! One of the 30 minute offerings at Padlockd so naturally a smaller space. The Frankenstein prop is pretty cool, its sheer size and response to puzzle solves is probably the highlight of the room. Beyond this I found the room a bit dull. I wasn’t wowed by any puzzles and found a lot of our time was spent confused about what solving something actually did. Maybe a better option for beginners looking to start with a shorter, more manageable experience.

This was a fun little game, overall lacked the thrill of a usual escape room. Some puzzles were very temperamental and “opening” of things was unclear causing a bit of confusion

Difficult room, issues with tech causing us to technically fail even though we solved the puzzles correctly. Even the host was a bit confused as to why the last puzzle didn’t open as we had everything else correct. Overall a very clever room although I would say a 4/5 difficulty

I love Padlockd but Frank has got to go, we felt like it wasn't worth the money playing the game though does look cool as a prop

A cool concept for a game — it was fun to play a mini escape room experience based around a single prop. Some puzzles were very straightforward, however one in particular was difficult not due to complexity, but due to the small group size and need for strong memorisation skills. The space itself was tricky as it was glass-walled and closest to the street, which meant that specific lights weren’t visible due to the sun coming into the room and drowning out the lights. The atmosphere of having passer-bys looking in, and people in the bar watching on was different!
