Operation Treehouse

The concept and look of this room are pretty good, however… we unfortunately saw lots of issues. The room had more than 3 games/puzzles/set pieces broken. The puzzles that did work were finicky and took a long time even when we knew exactly how to do them. The game also didn’t flow well and because it was one room and you could start in many places. When you finished a puzzle it didn’t seem at all rewarding because you had still so much to do and look at (with lots of pointless red herrings). The game master, however, was totally amazing and so helpful. He made the game seem more cohesive by helping us to understand what we missed from the broken puzzles and you could really tell he loves being a game master.

The concept and atmosphere of the room was excellent, but some of the features were worn out so weren't as reactive/ intuitive as needed for smooth gameplay. Sometimes would have to ask for additional hints when the correct answer didn't give results on the first try. Also, a few minor broken features confused gameplay.

This room was pretty amazing and I feel this has to be their best room to date. The set was so perfect. There was detail after detail that made me smile with each new discovery. If you ever had a secret fort as a child you will be instantly brought back in time with a lot of happy memories. The puzzles were also a lot of fun. I appreciated how they were tied into the scenic elements both in theme and how they mechanically worked. There is a lot to do in the room so bring at least four and be prepared for a fun adventure!
