Graveyard Escape was a decent room and we had a fun time. We had low expectations going in, as we have done other Mastermind rooms and they are good, but nothing spectacular. Mastermind typically has lock-heavy rooms and this followed that format. We were very organized to figure out which locks needed what, so when we found a key or code, we usually knew what lock to use it on. 1st room was well lit and had several straight-forward puzzles that made sense. 2nd room was very dark and even had a fog machine built into it, so that was a pretty cool effect. Rooms were pretty linear so the rooms flowed pretty well. 2 puzzles that were fun and different were a maze puzzle which required some tools/skills/patience and we felt like we were on Survivor…the other puzzle we needed to retrace various sequences to visually figure out numbers, which was fun. Both of these could eat up time, but we got through them pretty quickly. Customer Service at Mastermind’s new location has been very good each time we have been there and we have had different people each time. Our GM (Tee) was very fun to talk with before and after, and gave us a couple good nudges when we were spinning our wheels. Graveyard was nothing great, but if you are looking for a decent room to have fun on a random evening, check this out.
