A group dare to venture through a dark abandoned house turns into a horrifying nightmare when you quickly realize it’s not abandoned at all. It’s a sick game, and you’re the main attraction. You’ll have to work together to overcome all the twisted challenges and stay one step ahead to escape. But be warned, not all groups make it out together. Will yours? The Sacrifice is inspired by the fan-favourite 13 Sedah Ave. A brand new experience with a whole new world to discover, new puzzles and challenges to take on, and a whole new set of scares to face. Do you have what it takes?

Really fun. Not my favourite theme for a game and there were some puzzles that I found really frustrating to solve. However there were some really satisfying puzzles and fun theming throughout.

Gameplay

It was good to have a clear distinction of what we needed to complete throughout the game.

Atmosphere

I really loved the ceiling effect that they used. There was also a lighting effect used with thunder and wind which I loved! Some great jumpscares too!

Customer service

Dana was our host and was so so lovely.

There is a recorded souvenir element in the game which I thought was cool.

I loved VHS so I was stoked to hear RSG was expanding to another location- and with a new spooky room! This one wasn’t as difficult or scary (no live actor lol) but still just as fun. A great variety of puzzles and as always with RSG, plenty of space to spread out. We spoke to the manager after and she mentioned their new location was set to have 5 new rooms total, and one is supposed to feature a live actor! Excited for it.

Another solid RSG experience!

Gameplay

There were two puzzles we found challenging and needed more direction on, but otherwise it had a nice flow with lots of fun moments!

Atmosphere

The set as a whole was nice, but there were a few details in particular that I found quite impressive and very impactful to the overall atmosphere

Such a great experience! We managed to play The Sacrifice as a team of three and had a blast! Fun, immersive room with great quality props, and a great variety of puzzles. There are a bunch of really fun and high production reveals and some fun unexpected moments. Excited to here they got another adventure coming soon and enough space for several more adventures at this new location.

So much fun. Very similar to their VHS room in vibe. Creative and diverse sets of puzzles. I think they really took feedback from their last location’s rooms that doing 6 rounds of every puzzle was too tedious. There are puzzles that you need to do multiple times at increasing difficulties but at no point did I find it overstaying their welcome. 4 was the perfect number for experienced players
