Invasion

I like that the premise of this room is a little oddball: some kids hit a baseball through the window of a house, and now one of them is missing after trying to retrieve it. The comedy of the situation is peak 60 to Escape, and the results are quite entertaining. The content warning on their website is overblown: this room isn’t creepy, so don’t worry about strong content. Similar to Pirates Curse, there’s a great blend of puzzle styles at work here and a lot to do. One of my favorite puzzles involved…a cat. I’d recommend a group of 3-4 players since some of the spaces can be a little cramped with a larger group. I also love that there is a moment in which the players need to agree on a critical decision. Any opportunity to affect the direction of a narrative really heightens the drama. All of the above come together really well, this is one of my top 3 three rooms at this company.

Its probably the best themed game around with puzzles are are just short of great. As I’ve come to expect from 60 to escape, the sets are out of this world. The sounds, the lights, the props are something id expect out or hollywood. The puzzles were just shy of excellent for me personally. There were very few basic number locks and the ones that were there were pretty good. Still, none of the puzzles themselves left a lasting impression. They were all fair and innovative, but I can’t say I remember any distinctly 24 hours later.

This one is a great time. Fun puzzles, unique story, and a little challenging. You’re even faced with a moral dilemma, which is something I’ve never seen before. I would recommend this one if you’re in the area.

This was their most difficult at this location. Again, the atmosphere was great. The game play was good but it did take some thinking. Definitely good for probably 4 or more people. There were 5 different rooms for this one, so it was quite large. Fun way to end our trip this weekend.

60 to escape has been easily one of the best escape rooms I have ever been to. The multi room escapes make the game so much more fun and interactive as opposed to your standard rooms

This was one of the best rooms at 60 to escape and one of my personal favorites. I loved the scenery and there was a great story to follow. It was a little spooky at some points but definitely not scary. My brother and I were able to complete it with plenty of time left, but it could definitely work with larger groups as well. I would highly recommend to seasoned escapists as well as beginners. 9/10 ⭐️

As always, 60 never disappoints. I was not expecting everything that came with this room. There was a part however I do not think I could have ever solved without a hint. With that being said, game masters here are always amazing and helpful, and fun. They help bring the story to life before the game even starts. Solid choose your own adventure ending as well which I think is a really cool addition to an escape room. Overall 4.2/5.

We drove in from Chicago for the day to do this and the pirate room having done all the games in Schaumburg and most in Gurnee. This room was super fun. Like all of the 60 to escape rooms the theme and set design were awesome. Super immersive and lots of fun surprises. My husband and 16yo got hung up in one area thinking they could solve it when they didn’t have all the info yet which left my 19yo and I to do a good portion by ourselves and it was much more fun that way. LOL. So those 2 didn’t enjoy this room as much but my older son and I loved it. Highly recommend this and all the 60 to Escape games. Worth the drive!!
