Abduction 6: Tortugas

Tortugas was one of the top games on our Spain trip, landing around #4 (of 37) for me. Astonishingly large set with lots of great details (though admittedly not the hardest theme). Great solid thematic puzzles, great sense of exploration, and a memorable ending. Good nods to the source material as well. I didn't love some of the (what I assume is) AI-generated art on screens - it felt out of place.

Loved, loved, loved this room! :) So much fun from start to finish and from high up in the street to down below in the sewer system. Had to do things I’ve never done before in an escape room and this room definitely is in my personal favorites from now on. When being in Barcelona, give yourself a spectacular treat and become part of the turtles for 90min!

Puzzles 🧩: 9/10 Set/Wow Factor ✨: 10/10 Story/Immersion 🔮: 9.5/10 Fun factor 🤘: 9.5/10 Tortugas was one of our favourite games of our Spain escape room trip. Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the set was impressive, with high-quality build, and an absolute delight to explore. There was creative game flow, lots of cute surprises and unique puzzles and mechanisms. The game has solid puzzles, very fun, and there's a nice surprise at the end too. (We booked this late morning and let's say that's perfect timing). There were just a couple of puzzles out of dozens that gave us pause, with a technical glitch/input sensitivity issue, but the vast majority of the puzzles were clear and went smoothly.

This room was fantastic! It was pure fun from we entered until we left, with wow moments around every corner. Some very different puzzles here, that we loved, and with amazing set designs as well. This was not an escape room that focused on the story, but put players in a state of play. The focus was fun, and they really nailed it. I’m so happy we added this one to our list, and I would highly recommend playing this room!
