It wasn’t long before the location of the Lost Tomb of Monthu went public. When news outlets got tipped off, they called it the archaeological find of the century, and it became a global race to plunder the infamous artifact. Fortunately for you and your team, you’ve got a little bit of a head start! The Ruby of Black Sands is several perilous tunnels upon tricky chambers deep within the tomb, and with treasure hunters right on your heels, every minute matters. If you aren’t careful, that priceless gem will go to someone else… or worse, you’ll be sharing a tomb with the Pharaoh. Outsmart the archeologists behind you and avoid THE CURSE OF THE MUMMY!

If you’re a puzzle-heavy fan, this game is the one to play! A great mix of conventional locks and tech-based play parts. So many fun ways to explore the room as you go, and not fully linear which was refreshing. We played through as 2 experienced gamers, but would have been super-fun to try with a group of 4!

As suspected, the crew at The Escape Ventures (TEV) took a game that had been through several iterations and turned it into a puzzlers masterpiece. So many ah ha moments and so many enjoyable puzzles. We finished with about 30 seconds left and for me, it felt like we hadn’t been in there THAT long (which means we were having a great time)

Fantastic game. Puzzles made sense and were not overly complicated. But there was enough here to justify the 90 minute limit. I think two enthusiasts would have no issues at all solving everything within the limit.

Escape Ventures is always a good place I can count on when it comes to wanting something exciting and worth the money!! The room was SO COOL. I was excited going through it and didn’t want it to end. My family and I felt like we all played a part which is a hard aspect to find in escape rooms now days. From the ongoing puzzles to the amazing experience (thank you isa!!) this was a 10/10 for me!!!

When a prop fell off the wall in the room, the game master was very understanding and kept us updated on how it would be fixed and how we would proceed! Very professional!!

Another great room from the Escape Ventures! We went on opening day cause we were itching to get a new room from them! Overall, the puzzles were the biggest highlight for me. They were challenging, yet made sense if you really put your brain to it! I’d recommend bringing your smarter friends, and doing some of their other rooms to recognize some of how they like to do their puzzles! Some of my favorite lighting effects can be seen in this room, especially in how they’re incorporated with the puzzles! We had Madison, who did great in her role and as our GM! Her alongside the rest of the team was so kind and friendly! We’ll be sure to come back for their next games!
Puzzles were definitely a 10/10, but not in an overly complicated or unfair way. You could solve everything with some good critical thinking!
We went on opening day, so everything was fresh! Set looked great!
We had Madison, who gave us clarifications when needed! She did a great job and nailed that british accent! We also met one of the owners Derrick, who was also so incredibly kind and nice!

Story was not a major highlight of the room, with it being a fairly generic mummy tomb raid story! However, the story was not a major component of the room, with the puzzles being a definite highlight!
