Framed

This was our fourth escape room at elude. We ended up giving in and because the previous 3 were so fun and thought we might as well check off the last one. I'm glad we finished off on a room that we could actually escape. In this room, one person begins separated from the rest (that was me). Like the other rooms, this room has some really fun and creative puzzles. There was an added layer of difficulty as some of the puzzles were multi-step puzzles. Even though this room had many combination locks, the puzzles to solve them were unique and still made it fun and exciting. The room was well designed and decorated. The host Julia gave us some background on how they came up with some of the room ideas and actually gave us a bit of a history lesson. She was so lovely and passionate and didn't hesitate to answer any of our questions. Can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.

This is by far the hardest room I've done in Sydney. Framed is truly a room for experienced escape room players. Every puzzle in the room had multiple layers required to solve. However, they logically all made sense and the time wasted on some puzzles were definitely due to missed clues or information. There are some harder to see clues however that I feel need to be made a bit more obvious. Overall this is a very challenging room with a plethora of difficult puzzles what will really test your puzzle solving skills.

A fantastic room, great details and loved how it was multi linear!

Framed is our 4th indoor escape room with Elude. Again, another beautifully designed and built, very clean and well maintained room. The puzzles are very clever and stories flow well. Elude by far is one of the best, also some of the most enjoyable challenging rooms around the country. Owners are escape rooms enthusiasts and always lovely to have a good chat with them. I highly recommend visiting Elude if you’re looking for high quality escape experiences.

By far the most challenging room we’ve done so far, and the first time we’ve failed to escape a room — and we weren’t even close! Despite this, Framed is also one of the best rooms we’ve done, not just in terms of the quality of the set/props but the smartest and coolest puzzles. As a bonus, Elude is also the cleanest escape room ever (and seriously has the cleanest toilets of any venue I’ve ever seen). And it was a delight chatting with owner/GM Julia before and after about their rooms and escape rooms around the world. What a great experience. We will definitely be back!

This was our first escape room and it was our fault for picking one whose difficulty rating was a 5! Would definitely be willing to try it again now that we have more rooms under our belt, but this definitely wasn’t suited for a bunch of novice escapers. Was a lot of fun, though!
