79 escape rooms

The ending was very anticlimactic We had to read walls of text, and it's never fun. You read the journal - and just follow the instructions. As such, there was no magic, no aha moments. Additionally, we were told not to touch or rearrange "decor l" items but how do we know what decor is part of the game or not. As such, some items needed to be manipulated with hands, using a strength far exceeding the pinky finger levels.

So sorry that you found the ending of the room to be anticlimatic. Most of our guests find the ending to be a bit magical. Sorry we didn't meet your needs. In the room, we have blue signs that indicate "ancient items" that customers should not touch. These items are either delicate, or items that are in the room for decor and we don't want you to waste your time going through them all. For example, the set of books are just in the room because it is the professor's office. I am so sorry that the blue signs in front of these items were confusing for your group. We hope you will give us another chance with one of our other escape rooms. We do offer three more traditional escape rooms, as well as a VR Arena.

19 escape rooms

We went just after they had opened and were still ironing out the kinks, so it’s very possible that others will find this room worked well. We had several moments where puzzles didn’t work either because it was worn out or had been broken in the past. The theme was fun and engaging, definitely one you’d want to do with more than 2 people. All in all, we’d rate this one as ok, only because game play was interrupted a few times to have things reset or fixed.

Generally the play flowed and clues made sense.

Atmosphere

Very immersive, great design and good atmosphere.

They were welcoming, as they had just opened, getting settled and started.

If you are new to escape rooms, then yes, it’s fun and different. This is maybe the 3rd or 4th archaeology/professor/mystery one we’ve done, so not very much different from the others. But not meant in a bad way.

Story

I’m not sure I quite recall the specific story as it tends to blend with other similar plots, but yes, the elements were integrated.

Medium to hard. We did it with just 2 people, but some of the elements didn’t work correctly or were broken. Given that they had just opened, some leeway is granted in my review.
