The Secret Lab

This was our favorite room for the amount of puzzles and variety of puzzles. There is A-LOT to do which made it really challenging for 4 people. But we had so much fun. The staff were amazing too! In the top 3 out of the 35 rooms we’ve done. Extraordinary experience!

🧪🥼 An incredibly fun puzzle-fest with a very satisfying climax- maybe one of my faves to date! I know the general rule of escape rooms is less people = a better time, but for this one, trust me: this non-linear and densely packed room is well-suited for a large group! I played as a duo and we were running around, hard. Our gamemaster was very nice and removed a puzzle they keep for larger groups, probably saving us about ten minutes. So much fun and definitely a favourite of ours on our Scotland trip! Do it!

Wonderful, fun, diverse, engaging puzzles. Lots to do, bring a team!

A large room set in an actual old veterinary lab. Tonnes to do in the hour, I'd recommend 6 people for this one! Some really nice puzzles, a really large room and great use of scientific gear and tech!

We were a group of 4 for the secret lab! The role playing from Ellen was great brought me giggles! We got slowly into what we were supposed to be doing and once we divided into teams of two we were more able to solve each puzzle! We were very close at escaping and solving the whole problem! Definitely we will come again for another game

Escape room was really enjoyable, good mix of puzzles with some really unique ones. A good open room where team members can split off and do different puzzles so the whole group feels involved! The team at locked in Edinburgh are fantastic!

Booked the Secret Lab as it gets very high reviews online. We are a family of 5 (3 teenagers) who have done quite a few escape rooms so wanted to give it a try. I would say it was enjoyable but probably better for bigger sized groups. They did take out some of the puzzles to make it more manageable for our size of party which made me feel like I was missing out on the full experience but there were lots of puzzles to get through. Lovely, friendly games master, some really good puzzles and we did enjoy our visit.

The Secret Lab was delightful. It was fast-paced and engaging with a great mix of puzzles and several very satisfying moments. There were a few specific puzzles that were unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere, and overall there was a ton of variety in what we were asked to do. They made excellent use of a space with a very unique history. Our GM was excellent - friendly and accommodating and clearly paying attention to our gameplay - and the mechanism for delivering clues to players was a real joy.
