Alchemist Revege is one of the top escape room options I've done in Brisbane. The room and puzzles are beautifully designed. The puzzle progression feels very intuitive with a great variety of mechanisms and use of technology. This room is my number one recommendation to people looking to do their first escape room, but will be really enjoyed by enthusiasts as well.
Great gameplay, variety and intuitive progression.
Beautifully designed and unique theming.
Staff are great and friendly. The Quest Room staff really "get into the role", right from arrival to departure, which might make some people who are a bit more socially introverted a little uncomfortable, but I think it is a unique feature of the venue and I appreciate it.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Fantastic puzzle builds and use of technology. I don't think there was a single padlock in the room from memory.
Not a heavily story driven room, but that's fine - the puzzle quality and set design make up for it.
We managed to complete the room with 2 of us in around 43 minutes without any hints.
There was one puzzle that had not been reset correctly, which meant we solved it out of the normally order, however it did not effect our experience of the room or the other puzzle solves.
Physically active
Somewhat
One puzzle requiring a little bit of physical activity, and one doorway requirig a bit of crawling.
You do need a bit of a sharp eye to spot the front door, but it's not like Quest Room is hidden away.
Parking isn't too hard on the street outside of business or peak hours (we've always been able to park out the front on weekday evenings or weekends).
