Toxic

Very linear and very easy. Escaped way too quickly and it didn’t feel challenging at any point.

A really solid room overall, we played Toxic before playing its counterpart Doomsday (which is set in the same space). This probably played a big part in how I feel about the experience as Toxic felt much more put together. Even with a relatively simple 2-room design moving from laboratory to office space, there were still plenty of interesting and interactive puzzles scattered throughout that I really enjoyed. The lab definitely felt like more of the main attraction in terms of entertainment value and variety of props but it was still good fun navigating through each space and unravelling the story of the room nonetheless. Definitely my pick over Doomsday if you’re only going to play one, cool room!

This room is one of a two-part offering that takes place in the same space along with Doomsday. Off the bat I have to admit I am not a huge fan of this concept/style. The room flowed nicely and the puzzles were good but the room did feel a bit old-school and tired. The lab theme is pretty much everywhere so I'm really looking to be wowed by something and unfortunately didn't find that here. The second room was just a simple office space which is fine and the interaction with the computer was fun but much like the rest of the room, felt a little uninspired. Not my favourite of the rooms here but maybe one that is better suited to beginners.

A sort of simplistic vibe, but very satisfying

Dan does not miss. 2/2 from Revelation Puzzle Room. Thoroughly enjoyed the room.
