It was ok for the price.

Based on previous Strike rooms marketing their rooms as “expert level” I went into this one with an innate sense of dread but ended up having a decent time figuring out some genuinely tricky puzzles. The set left plenty to be desired (standard) but the puzzles actually felt relevant to the story/investigation we were working our way through. While there are plenty of things in there to trip you up if you’re not paying attention I think overall Forensic is far from the worst Strike offering out there. My favourite of the 3 at Highpoint.

Eh, an okay room but nothing inspiring. Some pretty straightforward puzzles before careening into some real leaps in logic and senselessness. I’ve played a few rooms with a murder mystery storyline now and it’s never really done amazingly, just kinda standard and plain. Set was fine, I really can’t stand the QR code hinting system but it’s to be expected with these sort of rooms. Below average but maybe more enjoyable for a beginner.

Nothing special with the room so just a mid room in general. Puzzles are basic and logical which have an okay flow. The story is shallow with not too much connection with the puzzles. You’ll always hear bowling sounds outside so there’s not much immersiveness as well. However these may all be reasonable given the relatively low price they charge.

Kind of on the fence about this one ! Puzzles made sense but became very underwhelming near the end ! We also got stuck so quickly early on and w/ 6 of us it was kind of a shock!
