108 escape rooms
Fun and creative experience. Train based escape room with a spooky theme. Game (kind of) starts even before you even enter the escape room. What is truly unique is that this escape room has two different game modes with different stories and puzzles. Items unique to each version are labeled differently in the game (though since your brain might not be used to this it can take a second to realize a puzzle isn't for you). The puzzles for the spooky version were decently themed. I like the concept of two rooms in one but would have preferred either more of the puzzle objects be removable to be less of a distraction or computerized to function in a different way instead of the as much labeling tape. There is also one room in the game that while reasonably interesting puzzles which do go with the spooky theme go far less with the train theme. Overall it was a lot of fun, and we almost did the other version of the train but someone booked the closest time slot and we were tired from another room with the AC off making it very hot. Will probably be back to try the other train version.

Buttons, sensors, etc., but still some traditional locks.

4-6 players seems ideal. We did it with 2 and finished just under the wire. Though some rooms would be crowded with more there are some puzzles you can divide and conquer.

Need to move back and fourth a longer distance than a typical room and through a low entry way. No climbing or anything like that.
The game requires you to move through a low entry way which would be difficult for anyone in a wheelchair or on using a cane or crutches. A decent amount of bending over to reach clues. Some audio clues are hard to here. There is also a slight step up onto the train car.

They are the majority of the building with plenty of spots for their 4 physical rooms.

This was a perfect room and I loved everything about it! This room is unique as you can play it two different ways with two different stories and two different sets of puzzles. Unique and it works! The puzzles are easily color coded so you know if it's something you need to interact with or whether you leave it alone. The game starts in the lobby before you even enter the room. Loved that little detail! The train and "movement" we're such a great detail. The old fashioned seats and windows had such a great feel. The puzzles moved you through the train and it was so unique to see the huge set. Great tech to give some really fun and unique puzzles. I saved the alternate version so that I could come back again and share this awesome room with friends.

The first "puzzle" was a task. The puzzles overall were okay. We did the room with 2 people. The theming is on point.

A little bit of a rough start to the game with a reset error, and incorrectly timed audio clue that led to some confusion, and a linear puzzle path with some difficult searching, but our frustration faded as the game progressed. The set was very well done, and the game space was bigger than expected. Tough to say how many players I would recommend this game for⦠because of the mostly linear puzzle path, I would say keep it <4. However, the game relies heavily on searching (you will have to scan the ENTIRE game space with a common escape room element) so a big group would be better for that. On the other hand, as we played as a group of 2, Spectral Rift was nearly $70 per person.. which was not worth the game we experienced (in our opinion). All in all, it is definitely one of the better rooms in CT and
VERY search heavy. Mostly linear
Okβ¦ but didnβt seem to paying close attention as the clues we received were things we had already figured out or done

This was the lesser of the two Railway rooms in our opinion, mostly because there's a lot of searching that's more difficult for a group of two. Very solid room though, and fun set.

Great venue and awesome game. The set was immersive and exciting. So happy that they have a way to play two storylines in the same room. Definitely recommend this game for a thrilling story and game play.
Awesome storyline and puzzles flowed well!
Great set design and props! True care was definitely taken at every corner.
Our GM was great.

Hard
Definitely a harder game for anyone not experienced. However, the game play is structured so good that once you solve a couple puzzles it all falls into place.

Perfect mix of tech and physical locks/puzzles
Spooky
Spooky for a split second to build the storyline but nothing haunted or scary.

βThe set was really impressive and this dual-use certainly made for an uncommon team experience.β
βP.T. Railways's set was designed to be replay-able for two separate escape games.β
