Some things I liked about the experience was some of the creative puzzles and set design. The architecture of the place was good. There were a few puzzles that felt more unique, ones that you might not find elsewhere. However there were some issues with the escape room. Some of the puzzles were simply guess and check, not intuitive at all. Additionally you can very easily hear everything else going on in the building. My group easily heard a hint being given in another room, and we stopped to listen because it sounded loud enough that we thought it was talking to us. Another thing would be the amount of screens. This is just personal preference but I believe that an overwhelming amount of digital screens takes away from the immersion.
Most of the puzzles were very intuitive. However there were a few that were simply trial and error, something that should be avoided in escape rooms.
The room itself had nice architecture and atmosphere. However you can easily hear everything else going on in the building which distracts greatly from the immersion. Additionally there were a lot of screens, which this is just personal preference, but I prefer real props as opposed to screens. It takes away from the experience, especially when you can hear and see the screens loop and know their starting point.
It was average. Nothing special but it wasn’t bad.
No
There was the occasional unique puzzle or interesting concept, however it was mostly fairly standard. I would not say it was particularly difficult. I went with a group in which only two of us have played escape rooms and the other three had never, and we easily escaped with 8 minutes left.
The story was there and followable but it was not particularly memorable.
Medium
Much of the experience was incredibly intuitive. I think anyone with basic escape room knowledge could most likely escape.
Mechanical
It was kind of in between. There were a ton of locks, but there were also a lot of screens and some animatronics.
5
I would not bring too many. Anymore than 5 some people would probably be bored and not doing anything at some points.
Not scary
It wasn’t scary.

I agree with the 12+ rating

Nothing was broken per se but we had to do one of the puzzles twice because it didn’t trigger.

The actual game itself is fairly accessible, however there is a large set of steep stairs to get into the building.

The game has a strong start for atmosphere and the castle courtyard scene at the start does a good job of setting the mood of the game. High ceilings allowed for the game to feel bigger than it actually was. The finale was pretty corny but in a good way and we had a great time.

This is my favorite game I've played to date! It's so much larger than it first seems, and the puzzles are engaging, immersive, and plain old fun! There's an even balance between task-solving and logic-riddling, and the final race to the finish got my heart pounding. The animatronics are stellar, the set-design and props are Hollywood-level quality, and the sound track is not as overwhelming as Jurassic Island Escape was. Our game master was a hoot, playing into a Van Helsing persona for the initial rules brief and during the hints we had to ask for. We finished with 4 minutes to spare, having used all 3 hints before the final room. TAKE YOUR TIME in the middle hall (read additional notes on this review for more info), but don't dawdle, or you WILL run out of time. It's 5 separate areas total; only one area had 2 shorter puzzles, the rest had AT LEAST 3 puzzles each. We lost a lot of time in one area, and finished with only 4 minutes to spare. But daggum, it was fun!

Very excellent animatronics, lots of moving pieces, some high-def vid screens.

We had 5 folks, there were some moments I wished we had at least one more. But any more than 6 folks would have trouble navigating around each other in the narrow halls and smaller portions of the rooms.

Lots of gory and macabre props, some are definitely plot-essential. Would not recommend for squeamish or young kiddos.
No
There was one prop body that had puncture marks you had to count; one of the sets of punctures was hard to get the exact count right - every member of our group checked it at least twice, and we kept ending up 1 point off. We ended up having to use a hint on it, just to be told we were off by one after 10 minutes double-triple checking ourselves. Be careful...

Our game master did play a part, as if they were a Van Helsing and needed our help getting into Drac's Castle. They did a voice the whole time, but they weren't in the room with us once we started as an actor.
Somewhat
Toward the end, there was quite a bit of relay-racing to get props from various areas to the one final area.
Very narrow halls, some props inaccessible unless you're able to step-over, bend and contort to see everything.
Yes
Narrow hall with very steep stairs; expect traffic jams and vertigo!
Medium
Some free street parking, nearby paid lot.

Freaking phenomenal large set with amazing breathtaking moving props! Felt like I was in a real life Universal monster movie! Unfortunately, some mechanics were finicky and we even ended up wasting hints on puzzles, that we knew the answer for but couldn’t get to work. We somehow made it out despite those setbacks, even with some unintuitive puzzles toward the end. Even then, the exciting immersive experience is worth it, and the room itself is a sight to behold! The vampire hiding within definitely does not suck! (Except for your blood)

Had a really good time. I was expecting it to be harder, but it certainly wasn’t easy. Nice intuitive puzzles if you know what you are doing. Tons of visual clues that experts know to look for. Great set and nice story to go with it. Certainly my favorite at this location. We had a first timer with us and he held his own, but I would recommend a few experience people be in the group.

A little disappointing that one of the screens wasn't working, but overall very spectacular special effects and set design. I do like the immersiveness of this company.

We had a fun time in this escape room. We had some tricky puzzles but we still had a great time. There was some cool tech in the room.

The Set Design is very strong here. Some architectural choices are odd and the layout is a little funky but the feel of everything is great. A fair amount of this game is not very intuitive so be ready to ask for a lot of hints.

The story stays at one note for the entirety of your game; here is your goal and then you complete your goal.

Theming and set design =5 stars ❤️, animatronics, and high tech displays yet felt very Dracula castle and immersive. Storyline= 4-5 stars it all made sense Puzzles=3 stars some of them were great and original especially in the first and 4th room. The final room had some puzzles that were not intuitive and despite asking for clues we still couldn’t get it. I played with teammates that were not enthusiasts so we took longer on a few things than we should have but overall this could easily be a 90 min room especially since their escape rate is 28% Location=3 stars: it’s in a REALLY cool old brick warehouse building up some steep stairs and they have mini golf and arcade games etc. unfortunately you could hear the other escape rooms and pinball machines etc which really distracted from the immersion but we were eventually able to drown it out and focus on the game.
