Nobody knows Aunt Hilda’s real name. Everyone at the Grand Trip Trap Hotel has always called her that way. And it was also “Aunt Hilda” that she wrote down in the hotel register, in 1837. As the first resident of the Grand Trip Trap, it was there that she imagined her most beautiful tales, turning her room into a marvellous universe populated by fantastic characters.

It’s a stunning game - what else is there to say. As soon as you are entering the 2nd room it’s pretty much a wow, not only about the grandeur that unfolds in front of you but also about the meticulous details that are part of each puzzle. We loved it and are looking forward to come back to the other Trip Trap games.

Really great set design. There were some clever puzzles that really made me excited when I noticed them. We did it as 2… it is possible, although you should contact them ahead of time so they can modify.

More than you expect by the title and the starting room. it is getting impressive. I recomend more than 2 people, 4 to 6 could be even more fun.

A very charming room that impresses with its attention to detail and authenticity. Great, perfectly integrated puzzles at a pleasantly high level, cooperative elements, and lovely effects.

Gameplay

Great connection between the puzzles and the story. Except for one puzzle, every object felt authentic. The difficulty level of the puzzles was pleasantly challenging. There was always plenty to do, which I particularly enjoyed.

Atmosphere

By Swiss standards, a very large room. A beautiful atmosphere was created with great attention to detail. We enjoyed every moment in this room.

Customer service

The gamemaster was friendly, but not comparable to the level of service you get, for example, in Athens. There was no proper waiting area, and after the demanding room, water was only available upon request (and there was nothing to purchase either). She told us we could take the photo later, but then forgot and was no longer around. Another gamemaster ended up taking the photo. It felt more like a typical franchise room. From a TERPECA room, you usually expect more. Honestly, we’ve never experienced this little in any other TERPECA room before.

A truly heartfelt story. We always knew what our task was, where we were in the storyline, and how it was meant to continue. Everything was perfectly integrated.

A very beautifully designed experience (and not what you would think from the title 😏). The story was a lot of fun, and riddles varied. It is a large space with lots of searching required, so I would recommend more than 2 (although we were successful).

This experience was incredible! We traveled from the U.S. and are English speaking so we were very grateful that there was an English setting at that our GM spoke English well. The decor and immersion were top notch, the puzzles unique, and the experience one that we consider ourselves lucky to have.
