Although the game starts off a little slow, it builds up into a memorable finish. The worldbuilding and set is great and (eventually) unsettlingly eerie, puzzles made sense, and our actor was fantastic.

The escape room is delightfully spooky, and the story develops into a quirky and unexpected adventure. If that doesn’t scare you off, you’re absolutely in the right place! A special highlight is the fantastic actor, who brings the experience to life. The game flow is smooth and keeps the tension high throughout.

The experience was part horror, part humour, and a crazy story line that was quite unique. The start is fun and puzzle-y, and then it gets darker. The horror actually lessens over time (which is great for me), and the actor interactions in this game are so unique. And the hint system is great! The puzzles are well integrated into the story (although I wish there were more). As we thought the game was building up to the finale, we realised we had actually already reached it.

#3 on our all time list as of ranking (though Julie is arguing for its move to #2) This room absolutely oozes originality and creativity. Almost too many wow factors to count. Brilliant use of a live actor and a genuinely genius mix of horror and humor. As such, we didn’t find this room to be “scary” because there was enough levity to keep us grounded. The story was immersive beginning to end and we always love when a room reveals something about the people playing it. There were some bonkers (boinking?) touches that added to the risk-taking and hilarity of this room. Perfect tone of dark humor. You can’t get a more integrated hint system to keep the illusion alive. Do not miss this room, you’ll be talking about it long after the fact. Some would definitely find this room scary but there was really only one moment that scared us. The mix of humor relieved the tension the room would cause if there were no humor elements.

We had a lot of fun doing this game. It was two of us, ideally this room is for 3 people, but we managed to exit with some help from the GM. We liked hint system a lot. We recommend to try it! It was funny game with dark humor a little bit spooky, but not super scary 🙃
