“The cabin trilogy is a MUST DO! Warning: the scare elements are strong. But if you maintain a positive mindset, you will enjoy the experience. Chapter II, I'd say was 2nd scariest out of the 3. The immersion is excellent - from check in to check out! The layout is very well done, and the whole experience was memorable. The game can be played as stand-alone, but you get more value doing the trilogy sequentially as the story and characters build on each other. In Chapter 2, you are in a motel setting where you need to progress through the space to locate an item to be used in a certain way. The puzzles are on the linear side but you may feel the need to traverse back and forth between set pieces. While the difficulty level of the puzzles is moderate, the horror aspect dials it up to hard. There are quite a few things to solve. One of the puzzles can be a time drain despite figuring out what needs to be done - it's important to maintain a good pace. We appreciated the helpful nudges from the game master (in character)...and other sources (heh). My advise would be: don't get paralyzed by the fear element. Keep moving, solving...and ask for hints when you need it. The surprises in the game are quite cool! More details about "how scary is it" in a dedicated section below.”

“This game was a lot of fun and our favorite for the day. There is a lot to do but it all makes sense and is intelligently done. There are some “Aha” moments that we had. It does get a little warm in there. Staff was great as usual.”

“I’ve played 100+ escape rooms and this was a really memorable one. Horror rooms usually aren’t my favorite, but this experience struck a great balance between genuinely creepy and still fun to play. The immersion is excellent, and the live actor element adds a lot to the tension in a way that feels thoughtful rather than overwhelming. Huge shoutout to our GM Sabina, who fully committed to the role and really helped bring the experience to life.”

“I’ve played almost all of the rooms at The Escape Game, and this one is one of my favorites. Although it’s listed as their easiest room, the sheer number of puzzles makes it a challenge if your group is the right size. We had a group of three experienced players and absolutely loved the pacing and difficulty. The puzzles were satisfying with a a few novel twists, and the theming was top notch (like almost all of The Escape Game’s other rooms). Overall, I’d rate this as an 8.5/10”

“Super interactive room with puzzle mechanics that tied in really well with the prison theme. Loved the creative transitions between rooms. Gave an immersive and cinematic feeling. Our game master, Spencer, was great and really added to the experience. Definitely a memorable one!”

“Our team was able to divide and conquer during the first half, then work together toward the end. The puzzles were clever and fun to solve. Joe was our game master and made our experience very smooth. Shoutout to Hailey, the general manager, for helping make our return visit smooth and special!”

“As always, EHA put on an amazing show. Stop back in time and get ready to save the world. Someone made poor life choices, and you’ve an hour to put it all right. No pressure. This room is spooky, but not scary. We have done the Cabin multiple times, and that definitely had us more worked up in here, but don’t expect jump scares or live actors in this escape. The immersion is still the best in the business, though!”

“What a great first generation room! As others have said, the space and the puzzles are utilized well. We enjoy rooms that have specific tasks, and this room here has that. Great game master and a good time. Would recommend.”

“Very high production value, and some really unique puzzles compared to all of the other rooms we've done. But for our group, it was arguably too easy, as we got out in half the allotted time, and wished we'd slowed down to appreciate how fun everything was along the way.”

“The final chapter was a good room. I loved it, but it was my least favorite of the trilogy. The set was great, but I felt the other chapters sets were a bit more immersive. That’s not to say the set wasn’t great…it was. I just felt the other sets were better. I would recommend to do all three chapters to get the full experience. I’m glad we did them!”

“Great room with lots of puzzles. Zero mechanical locks. Definitely a room for experts. Would not recommend for first timers. The theming was great and the effects were neat. No real wow factor but certainly left us entertained and satisfied.”

“Depths was an amazing experience with fun and unique puzzles and a great atmosphere. It has some pretty high tech elements that are simple to use and don't take away from the experience. I've found some high-tech elements to limit my enjoyment of the classic room experience, but this room integrates physical and digital puzzles and clues very well. The staff was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to finish their other rooms!”

“I thought this room was great! We solved with two people with 10 minutes to spare but the puzzles and the atmosphere were both very fun. A lot of enthusiasts complain “it’s too easy” “it’s too hard”. It’s a lot of fun, that’s all that matters. Best take on a time travel room I’ve seen so far. Probably my second favorite from TEG after playground.”

“We love this location and have done a handful of their rooms. This room was delightful! Some really fun and clever features. It definitely has a Pirates of the Caribbean vibe. Recommend for groups of at least 4.”
